Customer Questions & Answers

I have an Arrow/Hart Murray breaker panel in my shop. Will these Murray breakers work? Should I get Siemens instead?

I need to add a 20 amp breaker and also a 50 amp breaker for a welder.
Asked by: GLBrown
Hi GLBrown, Murray circuit breakers are retrofit replacements for ArrowHart and will fit in ArrowHart panels.

Is this the type of breaker i would use for a rv?

I want to install a breaker into my panel and un 50 Amp to a rv approx 100 feet away. What type of wire would you recommend?
Asked by: Karlrock
At 100' I recommend you use #6 wire. # 8 is labeled for 50 amps, however at a distance you are dealing with, you will have the natural resistance of copper wire resulting in 'power loss'. The breaker will remain 50amp.
