The NDS 4 in. pop-Up Drainage Emitters with Elbow is designed to help solve multiple drainage needs. It can be used with 3 in. and 4 in. drain and sewer fittings. Allows water to be diverted and released to water-safe areas away from structures, erosion-prone landscapes and poor drainage areas.

  • Allows water captured by grates, catch basins, channel drains, flow-well, downspouts and roof gutter systems to flow through the drainage pipe and to a water safe area such as a gutter
  • Opened by the hydrostatic pressure of water flowing through the drain pipe, as flow diminishes the emitter closes again
  • Great for discharging water from retaining walls and street curbs
  • Fits 3 in. and 4 in. hub sewer and drain fittings
  • Emitter opens with minimal pressure
  • Closed during dry weather to help keep debris and rodents from entering the drain pipes

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Working as intended I installed this product at the end of a drainage system tying two of my downspouts together. Three severe thunderstorms and Hurricane Sandy put it to the test. The only reason it didn't get five stars is from the emitters tendency to stick closed in moderate rainfall if it isn't cleaned periodically. I really like the low profile design and the subterranean elbow emitter that prevents the constant "weeping" of water across my driveway. No problems with my lawn mower shearing off the pop-up cap. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Research installation first I purchased three of these and they appear to be working ok. Have had only one rainfall heavy enough to operate the pop-ups. August 26, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by fragile covers My mower sheered off the pop up on both of these. I swear, the covers were flush to the ground, but it must not take much to catch them. They should sell the pop up parts separately--you can't mow over them, apparently, unless they're below grade. I tried to superglue the pop up on one and drive over it slowly, but it still broke off. I'll replace it with a standard drain cover, I think. July 6, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by My riding mower sometimes sucks up the pop up cover and it's gone. Why dont you see just the pop up cover without the elbow? Very expensive to replace when you sell the useless elbow with the pop up cover. April 11, 2015
