I bought this expecting that the different pattern settings might actually produce coverage that somewhat resembled the pattern. I was mistaken. If you want either fine mist or amorphous blob shaped coverage, then go ahead and buy this. If you actually want something that produces anything resembling a square, triangle, or (the worst) a rectangle, look for something else.

It has quite a few different spray patterns. The problem is that none of the settings produce an even spray pattern. At one end of the spray pattern it literally soaks the ground in the middle you get a little water & at the other end of the pattern hardly any water at all.

I bought one of those 5 yr guaranteed sprinklers and it lasted 2 months before it was clogged with calcium deposits that even CLR would not loosen. I bought this to replace it 3 years ago and am getting another for the back yard now that the grass is finally coming in strong. These sprinklers are well worth the $8 and I have had no problem with leaks or malfunctions with every other day use all year long in NM.

This sprinkler lasted only one season. The the seals at both the hose intake and underneath the rotatable patterns dried up or broke. This caused big leaks and very little water actually squirting out of the sprinkler. This is the third different type of sprinkler I've tried from the Neslon brand. All have failed in two years or less. My father is still using the same sprinklers he had when I was growing up, where has the quality gone?

Maybe its just the one I bought but this unit leaks underneath. Maybe the word leaks isn't enough, it will flood your yard if you leave the sprinkler on for any length of time. The unit is plastic and the center top section is what you rotate by hand to set the desired spray pattern. The water poured from around the ring/base on top and squirted from the bottom. Seems cheap. I've had 'some' good luck with a few sprinklers but the plastic stuff HD has, like plastic ball valve shutoff attachments for the hose and hand held/operated nozzles, have all failed prematurely. I'll return mine the next trip, I should have know better. No value here, save your dough and put it toward a better quality tool that will last you for a few years.

I bought one of these sprinklers a few months back, fell in love with it! I now own 3! If you're wanting a sprinkler head to cover what it says it will, these are for you!

Very simple, a turn-able plastic top with patterns where water shoot through. I used the circle and square pattern at maximum water pressure, it gets water within a 8 feet radius.
