This starter hose kit is wonderful. I really like the ease of installation, and the multiple spray patterns. I also like the fact that I can remove the nozzle with out turning the water off at the house. The nozzle has a two position lever to change the water flow pressure, giving you double the amounts of spray patterns.

I really liked this hose and sprayer set up. There were no leaks at the special couplings. I would have liked a coupling that would have enabled me to hook a sprinkler to the end of the hose. If it doesn't have the special coupling you can't connect it to the end of the hose.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MarilynB Great Leak-free hose, but the nozzle leaks!
This is the neatest hose I have ever owned! The leak-free technology used on this hose really works, but unfortunately the nozzle that I received leaks (as shown in my photos) from the flow control knob. (If it did not leak, I certainly would rate this system with 5 stars.) This will not deter me from purchasing and trying the power jet wand and pattern nozzle, as I always trusted Nelson products and am sure the other nozzles will perform well.
There are optional attachments for this system such as a pattern nozzle, power jet wand, or lawn sprinklers. There is also a 100' hose available.
It was so easy to attach the faucet-to-hose adapter, it has a large nut and I did not have to use pliers to tighten it onto the faucet. Attaching the hose was so quick and easy, all I had to do is hold the rubberized part and insert the nozzle with a twist.
A great feature is that the nozzle swivels at the hose connection, so the hose does not keep getting twisted while working with it.
I especially love the idea of being able to change nozzles without running to the faucet to turn it off - this feature works excellently! I was pleasantly surprised to keep dry when I popped off the nozzle without turning the water off -- and I am looking forward to keeping dry while using it after I purchase the power jet and pattern nozzle!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by preppygirl56 heavy duty hose
this hose set is heavy duty, well constructed to prevent leaks with a super nozzle attachment. i would expect this hose to last for many years based on the solid construction and appearance. this is not a standard hose set. this far surpasses any type of hose i have ever purchased.
yes, you can buy a hose set for much less money, but will it last and provide a leak-free system? i am quite tired of having my hose shoot water at me when i am at my outdoor faucet, with this hose set, i don't ever see this happening. the faucet attachment has a triple seal to prevent such accidents.
i have never been satisfied with my yard hoses, but this one looks to be so much different.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MikeLikesIt Nelson LeakFree Hose Kit
Leak Free Connection has triple watertight seals to help prevent leaks. The system uses a quick tool-less connection: push, turn, and lock. The system is very convenient, with automatic shut-offs built in to stop the flow of water when disconnecting/changing attachments, a powerful spring holds up to 100 psi of back pressure, and the connection has a comfort easy grip. It comes with 50' hose. The only issue I have is that they don't make an adapter for non Nelson attachment. I have check online and the manufacture and don't show making that type of adapter.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wehoutop Discontinued part makes the hose usless
Purchased the Starter Kit about a year age hose and never used it. When I did open the box there was no Leak Free Faucet Adaptor. Check the Home Depot website and the part is discontinued. Without it the water shoots out from the faucet. Seriously, folks a total waste of $40.
