Customer Questions & Answers

I can't get a spray pattern from this item. I adjust the front tip from left to right and it does very little.

As another reviewer stated, it looks like good quality, but looks are deceiving. On the Home Depot shelf, this stands out as one of those products that "looks" like it will last. Mine did. A whole two years. I have other sprayers at half the price that last longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute junk! First, it came with no gasket. No problem I had some spares so I put one in. Then it leaked like crazy from the back of the head, around the tip. Spray pattern is awful. Now for the bad part -- used it about 4 or 5 times and it won't shut off and it no longer sprays, it just kind of drizzles out of the end. I contacted the company about getting a replacement under warranty and they will not respond. Absolute junk by a company that will not honor their warranty. I am really surprised and disappointed that Home Depot would carry such a poor product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from COMPLETE JUNK I've had this nozzle for less than a year and the pin that holds the handle to the nozzle to make it squirt broke. I'm sick and tired of spending extra money on the more expensive products at Home Depot thinking they are better quality and ending up with complete junk. I work hard for my money. I don't mind paying more for quality products, but I'm done with wasting my money at stores that sell junk. I should not have to waste my time or gas to exchange a product less than a year later. Home Depot needs to pull this product off the shelves IMMEDIATELY based on the other poor reviews. Get it together Home Depot or I'll shop elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't understand the bad ratings I see a lot of apparently believable comments here that trash this nozzle. That's a puzzle for me, because mine work flawlessly, and I've had one of them for over two years now. One thing I notice about just about every nozzle I've tried that is not the old fashioned brass twist-type is that there is a steady drip of water from the base of the stream when you pull the trigger. This one has a perfect spray pattern and the water goes exactly where you want it to, not all over your feet or the ground you are standing on. The red plastic adjuster at the back end seems vulnerable to breakage, but so far that hasn't happened. I don't worry about that, because if it does break, it can easily be replaced with a standard nut.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks sturdy, but looks decieving. I did not do my homework by reading reviews before I bought this nozzle. Like others, I now realize the look of great robustness only hides a very bad product. Used one season, and the following Spring, water flow went from spray to trickle. Comments about the spray pattern are also true, but I could live with that. My l cheapo nozzles lasted 5-10 times as long.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless at any price Nozzle was defective from the start. The spray pattern was irregular and the flow was restricted, but I decided to live with it. After a couple of months of light use the nozzle will not shut off when released no matter how I adjust the screw. Why can't someone make a decent garden pistol nozzle that lasts a long time?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT Heavy Duty ! Really unimpressed with this sprayer. First off yes its Heavy but the duty part is where it fails. I used this sprayer one time to wash a car and the unit appeared to be made of quality products until the head broke off when setting it down on the ground. The plastic internals failed as seen in the attached image. I'd suggest shopping for a different sprayer for longevity. When it was working the spray pattern adjustment was nice and the actual bulk of the material felt good when using it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy This Product Do not buy this nozzle. I was dragging my garden hose with this nozzle attached at the end. It caught a branch on a bush and, I tugged it with very little pressure but snapped the head off. The head itself is made of a sturdy plastic and brass, however, the stem that attaches it to the body is fragile. I bought this before I read the reviews and realised that I may have to treat this item carefully. I got one use out of the nozzle (washing my car) and then the break happened; I don't consider dragging a garden hose across a lawn area is anything out of the ordinary and if it snags, it shouldn't break so easily. It is NOT heavy duty.
