CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by water heater replacement This flexible tape made sealing the vent system easy March 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Probably a great product if not heat damaged The Tape when i used my last roll was great, however this roll and every other one on the shelf was heat damaged. In other words the middle of the roll was pushed out about 1-2 inches from the outside of the roll. When laying flat on the counter roll was "V" Shaped. Looks like I bought it at a garage sale- July 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tape won't come off roll in a one piece Real expensive time waster. Tape keeps splitting as I try to get a piece off off the roll. Impossible to get even a small solid piece of tape off the roll. Totally useless product. July 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ac Tape works exactly what is it is meant for. Good holding . May 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very difficult to use compared to other HVAC Aluminum-Foil tape This tape is very difficult to unroll, and cut. I would not use it again. The Aluminum-Foil tape with a backing is much better April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice tape. Easy to use. Very good tape. Tacky enough to stay where you put it but not so much if it sticks to itself you can still pull it apart and don't have to trash any of it. March 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really Like This Tape Bought all my HVAC at a friend's in another state (they won't sell furnace and AC here.) Put it all in and have been using for 18 years, guess I got it right...the friend, an HVAC dealer at the time, threw in a few extras including a roll of this tape. I didn't much trust it, thin, plastic, etc, wanting to play with the actual aluminum tapes often used / recommended for duct work. That stuff forms well, but the adhesive smears and gets sticky, a form of failure, after being heated or after a couple of years. I've seen it over and over with different brands and applications. This stuff is amazing: never had it fail. I now use it a lot to seal insulation board on (glass) animal cages: the insulation is over heat-tape, like 'FlexWatt' or the Korean stuff. It works great. The other tapes I've tried all let go and the board pulls off which does not look professional at all. Wish this came in black and clear, but I can work with the shiny silver/metallic finish. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lower Quality than other brands This tape is very difficult to start and continue to remove from the roll. I used a completive brand for the majority of my project. Home Depot was closer than Lowes to my house, so I went there and listened to the department head when he said Flexfix was the same as what I had been using. Well, it isn't. The time that it takes to remove the tape from the roll and "fix" tears in the tape is problematic especially if you are down in a crawl space to repair leaking duct work. Once the tape is applied it works well which is why I rated it Fair. August 15, 2014
