This metallic tape is great for it is intended to do. I used to connect a four part vent on the stove air exhaust. It seals great and the glue on tape sticks to the metal I used it for the dryer vent also.

First off this product is super sticky...so be really careful when pull the protective layer off ...it is not harmful but it will stick together . Used this on some duct work and it works really great. What ever you put it on it will hold much better than just plain old duct tape or any other kind of tape. Holds up even in very cold temperatures.

Had to reassemble a walk-in cooler that had seen better days. The plastic seals between sections were no longer pliable enough to seal out the elements (if water was getting in, then cold air was getting out) so the waterproofing repair tape was more cost efficient than silicone (labor and material). Adhesive on the tape is holding up real well, especially given the fact it is applied to the exterior metal of the cooler/freezer.

We all know people, who rather than make a proper repair will opt to just stick some tape on it. I'm guessing the tape company loves them. However when circumstances call for tape. there is non better.

This is unique. I needed a wrap for a microwave vent that would withstand heat, vapor, move with the fan's vibrations and above all hold. I hate having to re-do the vent as that involves taking down the microwave.
Previously, I used this tape and it works excellent. I do not know if this sticks to porous materials such as wood or brick. It sure sticks to metal, plastic, Fiberglas, glass and melamine.

I used this to seal the seams of aluminum ductwork in my basement that exhausts steam from the shower to the exterior. I wanted a product that would stand the test of time in a bathroom used by teenagers.
