Will this work behind a tub over the insulation at the seams

Thank you for your question. Nashua FSK is designed to bond to foil-backed insulation jacketing and can be used to seal the seams and patch rips or tears in the jacketing. Best of luck with your project.

Is this good for aluminum flashing on roof

Asked by: 1905b
Thank you for your question. Nashua FSK tape is designed for sealing insulation materials and is not recommended for use as exterior flashing. As an alternative, we recommend Nashua 527-20 Select Window & Door Flashing Tape also available from The Home Depot. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Nashua-Tape-6-in-x-600-in-Select-Window-and-Door-Flashing-Tape-1343003/206495170?keyword=nashua+select

This reinforced, high quality tape is perfect for joining the seams on foil-faced, fiberglass mat ductwork insulation. Another use for this product is to join the edges when fabricating foil-faced rigid ductwork or even just to repair torn foil-faced insulation. Be aware that the tapes adhesive is supper sticky and holds tightly upon application. To remove the tapes paper backing, use your utility knife or the blade of a pair of scissors to curl a corner of the tape. The paper backing will separate slightly (lift) from the adhesive and then can be easily peeled away. Smooth any raised tape edges with a plastic squeegee or your fingers to insure a complete bond.
