Answer:
It easily holds a 7.5 foot tree. It is very large. I would have preferred a tighter fit, but it works for me with the same sized tree.

Answer:
I wouldn't do that if they're fragile. The bag doesn't offer that kind of protection.

Answer:
Yes, but that it probably not a good idea as the ornaments will most likely break during transport and storage.

Answer:
Lights left on would be ok, ornaments probably not. The tree will be compressed when placed in the bag and delicate ornaments might be broken and some ornaments will be dislodged from hanging from the tree as the tree limbs are compressed while placing in the bag.

I would say yes, though they likely should be ornaments that won't break. I did remove lights.

The advertisement says it is 56" long. I don't think you can fit a 9 ft (108") tree in a 56" bag...

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great bag, very sturdy I bought this for my 7.5 foot tree and it is more than big enough, very sturdy, and easy to move around when full. I wish there was an option for a smaller tree, however, as there is a little too much room left over, making it hard to store on a shelf. August 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Heavy Duty Plastic Christmas Storage Bag Nice size bag for the extra Christmas tree we use for the grandchildren's candy & fun tree. Held the six foot tree with room to spare. Average quality for a heavy plastic bag. If you have a very expensive tree or one with lights, this would not be the bag for you. We purchased a quality rolling storage duffel bag for the Big Christmas tree with lights and bottom. But,for an inexpensive plain tree, no lights or fancy bottom parts to pack, this bag will work. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Purchase Ever! We have a 10 foot tree and the storage boxes that came with the tree have been so narrow that putting it back at the end of the season is a struggle. This year I purchased 2 of these bags and let me tell you, we should have done this before. The bag is very wide and to accommodate our 10 foot tree, we needed to buy 2 bags. I am hoping that they last at least a couple of years. When we put the bottom portion of the tree into one of the bags, we were concerned about the trunk of the tree tearing the bag so we padded the tree trunk with a thick sponge material. The 2 bags fit perfectly into our crawl space. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect After struggling to fit my tree in a box too small I was afraid I would have the same problem, but for the super low price I thought it worth trying out. Not so, this bag is huge, the tree stand went it too and room to spare. If you want the product to keep your tree tightly packed to save space, this isn't for you, but if you are just looking for dust and insect protection then It will be perfect! March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What I was looking for I was afraid that this would be too small for our 9ft tree and flimsy, but it is a very large, sturdy bag that will hold the 3-piece tree and the tree base. I had room for other things too, if I wanted to store it in the bag. Only draw back is the bag is really heavy with all the parts in one bag. Great quality for the price. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect! It was exactly what I needed/wanted! I needed new storage bags for my artificial Christmas tree. After visiting my nearby Home Depot and inquiring about such bags, one of the sales people told me that they were out of them, as it was several weeks after the holidays had passed. She gave me specific information about the bags, however, and told me how to order them, which I did. Love the bags! Problem solved with no hassle and the product matched my needs perfectly. Thanks to the sales person and thanks to Home Depot! February 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super value The Christmas tree storage bag turned out to be the perfect solution to our storage problem. It is rugged and well-built. It was just what we needed to replace the original box. March 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by huge space I enjoy the space in this storage bag. I have a 9ft tree and it has ample room. I am concerned about the strength of the bag. It felt as though the handles would not securely handle the weight of the tree when I transferred it to its storage location. I would still recommend it. March 1, 2016
