My review is more about the service and delivery aspect of my purchase. The filter does what it is supposed to do, and the case I bought should last a year, much easier than buying two or three at a time in the store. I don't know if my experience is the norm, but the service and delivery I received from Home Depot was phenomenal. I ordered the filters on a Friday, and they arrived the following Tuesday. I have never received anything that quickly after ordering it unless I had it shipped overnight. These were shipped standard USPS delivery. Items I've ordered from other vendors usually takes as long as they say it will take, 7 to 10 business days. This was QUICK!!

The price for the 12-pack was a great deal. However, the box of filters was damaged upon delivery. Four of the filters were creased and unusable. Three of the filters had pleats that were flattened but still usable.
I called HD customer service and was initially told that 4 replacement filters would be replaced. A couple days later I was told that the manufacturer does not replace a partial order/package and that they were out of the 12-pack. HD customer service did the best they could and offered a partial refund.
Again, this was a great price for a 12-pack but 1/3rd of the items were damaged.
HD customer service were good at doing the best they could to resolve the matter.

Being an HVAC professional I normally purchase my filters at the parts warehouse but when I saw this price I couldn't resist. The filter quality is midgrade but for anyone who uses the cheaper dollar store filters these are a million times better. Pleated filters last longer and the more surface area the better.

I jumped on this deal when I saw it! NaturalAir supposedly rates up there with Filtrete. These seem a bit flimsy but they're pleated and just sit in the furnace anyway. Cost per filter was $4.00 vs $16.00 for Filtrete. I'll find out in 3 months if they're any good. So far, appear to be doing ok.

This filter is great. We've got allergies and my husband has asthma, and this filter has worked well for us (we have two indoor cats). Our furnace is in the same room as our kitty litter boxes, yet there is no "kitty litter" smell coming through the vents.
I just realized that we need a new one (ours has been in for 4 months), and we haven't had any problems with the cardboard buckling, even though it's full.
The price is fantastic, too. I will be buying a new one today. I highly recommend it.

So far, very pleased with these filters. The case of 12 cost less than half as much as buying sets of 2 to 4 at a time of comparable quality filters. Seem to be sturdy and well constructed.

Just installed one. Construction is typical electrostaic. If FPR is honest, it should be a good replacement for a Filtrete 1500 which cost double the price.

This is a MERV 11 (FPR 8) filter. That means it stops a lot of small particles, not just dust and pollen, but also dust mite debris and pet dander. In an environment with a lot of these, you'll need to replace them more often. The frame only buckles when the filter is clogged and badly in need of replacement. If you don't need this level of filtration, save yourself money and frustration and buy a filter rated with a lower number, like MERV 8.
