Product Overview

Nature Power Monocrystalline Solar panel takes the sun's energy and turns it into electric current. Each solar panel is rated by-Wattage at working-voltage, the higher the wattage the more power you will receive per hour and the quicker you can recharge 12-Volt batteries. These solar panels are high efficiency 12-Volt solar panels featuring sturdy aluminum frames and high transparency tempered glass tops. They are rugged enough to be permanently mounted outdoors or even on mobile applications such as RVs and boats. Installation time is minimal thanks to plug and play connections and included flat mounting hardware. The Nature Power Monocrystalline Solar Panels are warranted to retain at least 80% efficiency up to 25 years. Each Nature Power Monocrystalline Solar Panel features a blocking diode and a bypass built within the wiring protects your batteries draining due to reverse current and power loss due to shade. The kit includes: 90-Watt solar panel, 400-Watt power inverter, 8 Amp charge controller and connector cable for plug-n-play installation.

  • High efficiency mono-crystalline solar panel produces up to 90-Watt or 5.14 Amp per hour of sunlight
  • 400-Watt modified sine inverter with two outlets allows you to plug in small devices
  • 8 Amp charge controller included
  • Connector cable included for fast and easy set up
  • Battery not included, a minimum of one 12-Volt deep cycle battery is necessary to use this kit

Customer Questions & Answers

Is this kit expandable?

Asked by: Chewy
Yes. Buy more panels as you can afford them.

What about a battery to store the power.

Asked by: CharlieD
Good question; Buy a good quality deep cycle battery to store the power produced by the solar panel and add it to the system. The larger capacity, the better, look for reserve capacity instead of cold cranking amps. Check the voltage of the battery periodically and never let the battery discharge more than 60%. Lead-Acid is still your best bet for this system. AGM batteries require a different charge cycle (pulse charging).

I have a pontoon boat with a 48 volt trolling motor system. Will this charge those batteries? Or would the 180 watt system work better?
Asked by: Brett
Hi, you would have to wiring the 4 solar panels in series to obtain 48V assuming you are using 12V batteries in series.

Does the charge controller have capability for 3, 6 and/or 12V and USB devices?

Asked by: John
Although charge controllers are designed to charge 12 volt batteries, it would be easy to hook up an adapter. These come as a cigarette plug-in adapter, that have various voltages, either by switching a switch or changing taps on the adapter. Check out availability at your local auto parts store.

90-Watt Solar Panel 12-Volt Off-Grid Charger Kit is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Panel was easy to install on my RV. I... The Panel was easy to install on my RV. I was a bit disapointed in the small diameter wires supplied with the unit. I built new harness with # 12 wires. The cheap Chinese voltage/charge controller was useless so I bot an upgrade which show the voltage in the battery, voltage/amp from the solar panel

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great I guess I missed the part I needed to buy a marine battery for it to work. A,little disappointed in that additional cost but so far no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 85 Watt Solar Panel Everything plugged in no problems. I bought a new marine battery with a 12 volt meter and it stays charged. I run a cb radio, police scanner, HDTV, am fm radio on that battery and it stays fully charged. I have never done solar stuff before. Now I am ready for hurricane season or any power outage in Orlando Florida. Great solar product!
