Product Overview

NeatHeat baseboard front cover is made of polymer and the end caps are ABS plastic. You can save yourself up to $75 per hour in labor plus the cost of material by installing NeatHeat instead of having a plumber install new baseboard throughout your home. You can install NeatHeat throughout the entire property in less time and without specials tools as it snaps on over the existing baseboard heater. NeatHeat will never rust or need replacing. It doesn’t have any sharp edges and helps protect against children’s and grandchildren’s fingers touching the sharp fins inside. Check the “How To Measure For NeatHeat” guide below to make sure your individual baseboard heaters are the correct size for NeatHeat. Common brands include Slant Fin series #15, #30, and #2000, Sterling series petite 7, Suntech, and Weil Mclain; however there are also many lesser know brand names so it is always best to check your specific measurements.

  • End caps sold separately
  • Made of Polymer that is melt-proof until approximately 460 degrees F
  • Can be cleaned using common household cleaners
  • Not intended for use with electric baseboard heat

I am sorry I can;t say for certain. The product was designed for Slant Fin 30 series baseboard but know it has been used on others. There are only three manufactures left. Slant Fin, Mestek and Haydon. So you can check those web sites to see if your style is still available. I believe the logo you describe was for Sun Temp which was a Mestek product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pricey, but does the job very nicely. Pricey, but does the job very nicely. Very easy to cut to length (I used sheet-metal snips). Installation is a snap (literally). January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase. I purchased this baseboard cover end cap to complete the cover of baseboard heat in my spare bedroom. The product is a quick and easy replacement for metal baseboard covers without having to remove the old covers. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Baseboard looks great installed I just remodeled our bathroom but still had a rusty and pitted metal hot water baseboard. I didn't want to tear it out so I went on line to Home Depot and found these. It looks GREAT, very easy to put on, very durable, very easy to clean and added so much to the room. March 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by good concept, needs some improvement First off, I admit that I really like this concept and am surprised that there are so few other options out there. The end caps are not made of the same material as the register cover. They are a thin and translucent plastic which means that you can see where the register cover ends behind it - like a wet t-shirt. You will also have to cut the bottoms to fit the height and the plastic is brittle, so be careful. I also think that these are much more expensive than they need to be given that they are made with an inexpensive plastic. I guess people, myself included, pay it because there are no other options. Also, a review on the front cover. This part of the product I liked. The plastic seems to be of a good quality. So much so compared to the end caps that I thought the end caps were for a different product, so I searched around that area of the store for the right caps. The clerk confirmed that the ones I was holding were the ones that went with the front cover. The one draw back to the 4 foot front cover was that it does not allow for the extra few inches to accomodate the copper pipe on both ends of a standard 4 foot baseboard heat unit. The cover is exactly 4 feet and Iike I said, the end caps show the register through it - not providing adequate cover. It's best to get a 6 foot piece and cut it down for a 4 foot register. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty and Full of Sharp Edges This piece was shipped in a box, unlike the panel which came only bubble wrapped. The endcap fits pretty good on the panel but has really sharp edges (see photo). I am not really impressed with this product line for poor quality reasons but at least it won't rust. April 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by decent system - pricey, but effective Cheaper than the metal systems but it is in fact made of plastic. It won't rust, that's for sure, but I wish it was a bit sturdier. Ran about $100 to cover up an 8 foot section of baseboard heating (end caps, joiner, and middle sections). Looks good enough though, I'll give it that. May 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! A bit pricey but WELL worth it. Used for a bathroom remodel. Was originally looking for metal baseboard replacement parts to replace the bent and rusted forced hot water baseboard. I came across this product instead. Took all of 2 minutes to install and the baseboard looks brand new! A great addition to brighten up the new bathroom! July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good solid product. I bought this part to replace a rusted metal cover in my bathroom by my shower. The spray from the shower ended up splashing over. Repaired and replaced. Works like a charm. January 28, 2014
