Customer Reviews

Santa Fe Compact Outdoor Fireplace is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3 1/2 out of 5....looks great. The fireplace looks great. The issue I had was with all of the "limestone" caps. First, they're poured concrete....not limestone. They are not flat. They're twisted. So you level one side but can't level the other side. You have to use the included composite shims to support the other side. Now you've got a 1/4" gap you can see through. Just make sure it's on the side so you don't stare at it. Assembly was straight forward if you follow the manual and you get a nice looking product in the end.

It was easy to assemble and the company delivered as scheduled. I would recommend having it delivered to your home. I had it delivered to the store thinking we could pick it up but ended up having the store delivered it. Two big stacks pallets of stone very heavy. The fire place is beautiful just installed it can't wait to get my burn on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fireplace excellent value For the price you can't beat this wood burning fireplace. Heavy and solid - should last forever. My son and I assembled it in just under the 4 hour estimated build time. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adding WOW to you backyard is easy! We had the fireplace shipped to the local store and then delivered with the wood for the rest of our project. The instructions were easy to follow, and my wife and I built the fireplace in two days. The top concrete section is the heaviest, and it took three of us to get it up there and in the correct spot. I would suggest a 4th person for this part! We had a sloping yard and took special care to pour the concrete pad level. We actually increased the dimensions of the pad for some flex room. I would suggest one thing, if I were to build this model again. We designed the project so that the fireplace will 'rise' out of our wooden deck. The fireplace is shorter than you think, and the smoke coming out the top is at our height, so consider raising your pad higher than you think. Also, we designed and poured our own concrete hearth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fireplace kit. I was tired of replacing the small steel outdoor fireplaces every other year at $300 each. I found this one at HD for $1900+. Although initial cost is high, it is quality built and has lifetime manufacturer warranty. everything required was included except large and small chaulk guns. The firebox has a fire brick lining so you will never discolor the outside blocks from heat. Keep in mind this thing weighs almost 4000 lbs and requires a strong base and some way to get it home. Easy to assemble, takes about 4 hours not including building the base. I used a concrete pad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy looks great Happy looks great don't be intimidated follow their directions don't skip steps I would suggest pouring a 4 x 4 concrete pad and you should let that pad cure at least a week before building on it most likely you're going to have to unpack the pallet to get it to the building site it's work but it's good to separate the brick and get an inventory count makes it easier to build when you have the brick separated you're going to need help with the caps they're heavy we were missing one medium brick we had an extra large it it was on the last three rows you can make it work with the extra large brick it looks fine

Very nice and easy to put together the top piece is a bit heavy but very nice take your time and use your square and level and shims when necessary. I used plenty of glue so I know mine is not coming apart. A great asset to any backyard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great DIY Very easy to assemble just time consuming. Be sure to have a sturdy and level base ready before you begin or it will not go well! Doesn't include a log grate but everything else is included. Much more enjoyable than a fire pit because of the chimney!
