I highly prefer drinking water hoses to regular garden hoses. This is a good one. They are flexible all year long, light weight, and durable. I prefer the 1/2" version over the 5/8" version because it is lighter and still has adequate water flow for me.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HD2015 Good value for the money
I just bought two new sets of this 5/8' x 50 ft hose, but I have been using two other sets on a daily basis for the last 8 months without any problems. The hoses are left unwound on the garden surface. They seem to be well built. Even though they are not entirely kink-free as advertised, they rarely kink and with a little help regain their original shape immediately. I consider this hose a quality product, but the price is higher than expected.

This a great hose for the value. It truly doesn't kink, and it seems quite sturdy. I am pleased.

The brass fitting on this hose is factory crimped to the hose end, however it appears that there are two sections crimped together. These were not tight enough to prevent water spraying from between the two portions of the fitting. I've returned the hose and ordered a replacement hoping that it was simply a defect and not common to all these hoses. We shall see.....
