The countertop was dented all around the edges upon delivery! The quality of the steel is apparently weak. The countertop fit nicely over three of the cabinet/drawer units. Thankfully, the company stood behind the damage with replacement. It would be nice if it was made of more durable metal and also if it was packed and shipped in a more careful fashion. I only recommend it because it is an easy countertop and I did not have to go find the right size, etc.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kathy Best decision with this purchase
Most people would use this in their workshop or garage, but I wanted something that could be portable if it needed moving again, durable and easy to keep clean for my new office space. My office will be housing all the office supplies and printing of various media so ordering this work surface as well as the cabinets was the best decision I made.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bill Good product- Terrible packaging
The product was a good value but unfortunately was packages appropriately to arrive without significant damage. I returned the firs it was so bad. The second has less damage and since I felt I would never get one without corner damage accepted it after being given a discount.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bear59801 Handsome work top
Got this to cover two Pro series cabinets and turn them into a work bench. It did that, and the size was perfect. The bamboo surface looks good, however it scratches more easily than a similar maple top. It is rather heavy but also not solid bamboo. Bamboo is laminated top, bottom, and sides to a core of some other material, probably a pressed fiber product, as I found out when I drilled a couple holes to mount a tool. Still it was enough cheaper than the maple version to be a worthwhile purchase.
Best to ship this to the store and pick it up; the freight would be expensive otherwise.
