Answer:
I am using this in a small room. It's probably 6' x 6'. Ceilings are 10'+ tall. It heats the room very well. In fact, I keep the temp set for 65 degrees, as 70 gets too warm.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heater for bathroom I have a business, and the bathroom is through the back door across a hallway. Well, in the winter, it feels like you're outside, on the homestead, in the privy. Much too cold to feel comfortable. I tried a panel heater, that I was able to attach to the side of the vanity cabinet. All it seemed to heat was itself. I tried an oil-filled radiator style heater, and that worked on heating the space, but there wasn't a good place to put it and I was afraid someone might burn themselves on it. Finally, I came across this heater. It fits really well along the wall. It has various temps to choose from and it has an auto off feature, with the longest time being 4 hrs. That works very well for my purposes. And, my clients love the warmth and one even commented that they like how it warmed the toilet paper above it! February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for what I needed It does a very good job for what I wanted. I wanted a heater which I could leave on for a couple of hours. February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mud room is heated My new addition 3 season porch / mudroom is not heated, so I searched all over this site and bought this. The room is 11' x 11' and it takes less than an hour to bring the room to a reasonable temp. I love this product. My only concern is it's a bit light, which makes me think it might tip over if bumped. I wish it had a remote so I didn't have to go into the cold room to turn on. But does have auto shut off so not all bad. December 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I would order from NewAie again I was pleased to find newair online when I was researching electric heaters for my home. They provide contemporary looking products with great pricing not to mention free shipping. I found their website very easy to navigate and found exactly what I was looking for. The page also listed specs and description of the products which certainly was helpful in deciding on my purchase. Ivette at customer service was extremely helpful when I was placing my order.she not only was very thorough she was kind, polite and a pleasure to talk with. My order was also posted promptly and sent out within the time frame listed. I certainly had a pleasurable experience ordering from newair and have also found the heaters to be exactly as described on their website. I'm sure I'll be visiting their site again in the future. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good heaters, but doesn't quite suit my personal needs I bought a few of these heaters to supplement the cold basement bedrooms. This heater heats well and seems cool enough to the touch, although the grandkids think it is too hot, and I'm fine with that. ;) It has a ton of settings - but you have to read the manual so you can get the right combination; just looking at the dial doesn't give you all it can do. (ie, you can set it to turn off in 7.5 hrs, but there isn't a 7.5 on the dial, so you have to do some math and dial it properly to get there). I think the thermostat is approximate - it shuts off when it thinks it reaches the set temp, but it could be a few degrees colder or hotter. I really do like these and am sad that my problem with it is that I would like more control to have the heater turn on/off to the chosen setting at a certain time of day. I knew it didn't do that, but thought I would give it a try with the built-in settings. But with others in my home using but not paying for my electricity, I think it would be worth it for me to return these and find something with timers. One other problem I have is that you can't run more than one on the same circuit at 1500 W. So if you plan to do what I do - have one for each bedroom, keep them lower, or on separate circuits. Other than that, I thought the product was fine. January 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Look Good, Seem to Work Well I bought 3 of these heaters to hear a small cabin. Two work fine. The third one had a bad panel-- it gave off heat but the display was dark. Home Depot refunded my money for that one. Probably just one of those things that happens from time to time. December 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice design this heater does what it says it will do but the thermostat is cheap and inaccurate December 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good! Bought 3 of these units- 2 for bedrooms and one for an open family room to supplement a very old furnace that leaves some areas of the house colder than others. You can't hear them running at all which is great and they seem to do a nice job heating the room. I appreciate the black color as it blends in with my decor nicely. My sons say they like the heaters in their bedrooms and they are simple to operate- I was able to get them up and running in no time without looking at the manual. Too soon to say if they will help with the electrical bills (over the other space heaters I have) but I am hoping so! February 7, 2014
