Answer:
Hi MamaD66,
Each box covers 10 sq feet, a 14 x 14 deck equals 196 sq feet.
Thus you will need 19.6 boxes, add 10% for errors and waste and the total number of boxes you will need is 22.

Answer:
Yes you can, the only thing is you have to make sure the boards on your deck are structurally sound, if they are you can just lay this right on top.

I have a weatherstrip on the door that swings out onto my balcony. Therefore, the clearance is rather low but there is some flexibility with the rubber. How high does each tile measure? Do the tiles need to be placed on somewhat of a sunken floor or risk snagging?

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by fake wood deck I bought this material to cover an existing deck, hoping for something that looked like wood. This material is more like plastic and than wood. It is hotter than wood, too slippery for my old dog and expensive. The pieces are well-made and interlock easily. I was able to assemble the deck myself without any tools or assistance. I think it looks better than the surface underneath, but am overall a bit disappointed given the cost. I recommend assembling back and forth along one side so if you are off a few millimeters it is ok. It gets quite heavy after a few rows and difficult to slide around for matching up. Line up the edge interlocks first, as the squares have some ability to expand or contract. I was able to easily cut off one strip with kitchen scissors where needed. The edge trim looks nice and is easy to add. Here are before and after pictures. May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick Deck The product was very easy to assemble. The only problem, was color inconsistency Some tiles were very dark while others were very light. The order was for Spainish Walnut.Considerable thought and planning was needed for the layout pattern,so that there was no 10 ft line of very dark tiles next to a line of very light tiles.Once installed and the dark and light tiles incorporated into a pattern, very satisfied. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best product for my use My wife selected this product and installed it herself. Turning review over to her. This product was a snap literally to install. It makes my patio look beautiful and finished. I found it easy to trim . April 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Customer Service The manufacturer reached out to me when they saw I had issues with discoloring of the tiles after I wrote the review in September. They sent me replacement tiles to all of those that I had ordered originally. There was little glitch on the shipping, as the trucking company called me on the wrong number so it got delayed for a month, but that's completely unrelated with the tiles. After I had a chance to took old tiles out and assembled new ones, now my deck looks beautiful again. November 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by had calcium coating on some tiles I bought this product last year and noticed that over half of my tiles had turned white. We tried to clean them to no avail. I just got off the phone with new tech and they are going to replace the discolored tiles. This product is awesome and is easy to install. The best part is that the company stands behind its product and makes it right when there is a problem. Thats hard to find these days. Thanks Joel at New Tech. February 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap Plastic I bought a case because there are no samples in the store at this time. I'm very disappointed in this product. It looks and feels like plastic, particularly when you walk on it. It gets dirty easily. I was hoping for something similar to Trex. After all, the product description says it's a combination of recycled plastics and wood. This does not feel like wood at all. For a very small space, I might consider it. It snaps together easily and from a far, doesn't look that bad. Up close (and on top of it), bad, particularly for the money. I would consider buying a similar product, but it would have to be real wood. May 1, 2013
