I read a lot of the reviews and was a little concerned. A lot of users had complaints, so I also read the full instructions. Here's a few common mistakes. Don't apply within 3 weeks of painting. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. They will have trouble adhering to heavily textured or uneven surfaces, try to smooth the area or fill it in first. Watch the video for the easiest way to score or cut the tiles. I have purchased these for a 2nd time now, and have had no problems, except in an area that was uneven and had a high gloss paint underneath. My kids are rough on walls, so anywhere I was concerned about I reinforced with a small amount of liquid nail but with 4 boxes of 2 different styles I've had no problems and they look beautiful.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staci Look really nice in my townhouse
I used this as a simple backsplash in my townhouse to give it an upgraded feeling. A few fell off each night but I just pressed them back on. If they falling I will use different glue. I love the look though. I wish I could show a picture. They are super easy to cut. Good for the price that's for sure. Look really nice!

The design on the tiles were not the same, in other words, when the design was printed on the tile, over half of them were lopsided and did not match up.
I called the "CUSTOMER NO SERVICE" and got 2 different females that were so rude!
I am returning them all today.
Please don't waste your money, the ones that were "correct" were very cheap looking.

This is my third time around with these tiles. I love them because they are easy to use and Home Depot's price is less than anywhere else. I have a mid 70'd kitchen that is not updated, so I have no choice but to like the retro look. My back splash is an odd size so I cut and fit the tiles, but I'm not that crafty. I ordered another box so I could fix my boo boos. I never thought of liquid nails. I use 2 sided tape when some of the tiles fall off. My back splash is against an outside wall, so right now they ARE falling off. Sometimes it takes 2 times to get them to stick, but eventually they stay put. This is an inexpensive way to renew the kitchen. I bought new switch and light covers and stick on lights for under the cabinets too, so it's a nice change. The colors in the photo are not right. I used the beige and green tiles and the counter is avocado.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ziggy I loved these little tiles
I loved these little tiles. I have an OLD farmhouse, and it is not square. These tiles were easy to use, easy to cut and inexpensive. I did do what the other reviewers said and I "buttered" every tile with liquid nails. It helped with manipulating the tile into place. I loved the look in my old house. I would like to have a pic, alas I am not tech savvy. Some of the tiles were unaligned, I just placed them where they weren't noticeable.

I installed these on my kitchen walls but they kept falling and I had to use Gorilla bond to make them stick.

Love the look these tiles give the kitchen. After reading the reviews and the directions we decided to use liquid nails to reinforce the pre-glued tiles and this has worked quite well. Very happy!
