Product Overview

Niagara's revolutionary Tri-Max Showerhead features three adjustable spray settings for optimal task performance and maximum water savings. The Tri-Max produces a luxurious shower with an even vacillating spray that requires up to 40% less water usage than typical low-flow showerheads. Simply twist the showerhead to match your desired task: 0.5 GPM flow rate for soaping, 1.0 GPM for showering, and 1.5 GPM for a powerful rinse mode.

  • Unique showerhead utilizes three pressure-compensated flow rates: 0.5 GPM / 1.0 GPM / 1.5 GPM
  • Select your flow rate based on desired water usage and task, 0.5 to soap and 1.0 or 1.5 GPM to rinse
  • Patented flow compensator gives consistent flow regardless of available water pressure
  • Tri-max showerhead has an even vacillating spray
  • Meets or exceeds ANSI specifications

Customer Reviews

1-Spray 1-1/2 in. Tri-Max Shower Head in Chrome is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice features - could be better spray I got this shower head because I was not satisfied with the control of the existing shower head. So this one sounded good with 3 flow settings. The settings are done with a twist of the black band around the nozzle. First setting is .5 gallons per minute, then 1.0 gallon, then 1.5 gallon. We tried this out in our main bath to see how it worked. We were satisfied with reservations. The controls are easy to use, and the flows are probably proper. The spray however is a bit on the "garden hose" variety of spraying. I mean that yes it is controllable, but it is a bit heavy and quite "un-airiated". I mean that it has a high volume of splashing due to the larger water droplets. I think it could have been more fine spray and still had good coverage. We like it, but it certainly could be better. Also it is quite large for its function as shown in a picture attached.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The world need this This product works as promised, & Home Depot delivered on schedule. The real issue here is to get this country & the rest of the world to stop wasting water, it must be used responsibly, by using this product and others like it, will be a step in the right direction. Yes the simple fact is we are concerned with all sorts of things of lessor value, but without good food & ABUNDANT CLEAN WATER THE HUMAN RACE CAN PERISH.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shower Upgrade Easy to install very light weight. This is a small shower head but it made a large impact on my shower experience. The pressure is more intense and stimulating than the showerhead I replaced. After observing the operation I'm convinced that the Niagara Conservation Showerhead can decrease the volume of water used take a shower. The Tri-Flow adjustable water flow rates are easy to change with the non slip black rubber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Shower head Niagara did a great job in making a shower head that allows for higher flow rates when the 0.5 gpm is not quite enough. For the most part, the 0.5 gpm setting is sufficient, and I use that for most of my shower time. It also helps to have even a little flow since some people don't like to take a "navy" shower. Saving 20 gallons of water per shower vs. a 2.5 gpm shower head (assuming a 10 minute shower) can add up very quickly. My very quick calculations show that you can save $42/year/person just in the cost to heat your water (equating to a a 4.2 month return on your investment) if you replace a 2.5 gpm shower head with this one (assuming you have an electric hot water heater, it'd be less savings, but still significant if you had a gas hot water heater). In a family of 4, if every person showered just 5 times/week, this change could save $170/year under the same conditions. Obviously the numbers would change depending on the type of water heating system and shower time/temperature, but changing your shower head is a very small thing that can have a huge impact.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gets the job done I received this through the mail. The first one was cracked where it screws onto the pipe. I contacted the company & they sent out another one very quickly... Great customer service! The second one arrived without any flaws. Installation is easy, just screw it on. I am not a huge fan of the 0.5 GPM setting as it seems to take forever to rinse. Besides that it works fine and the water pressure is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking, but I need more options We have relocated within the past year, and I thought this would be a good showerhead for our guest bath. But we've since decided it would be better to have a shower head that includes hand-held and stationary head. That way it can easily serve for child shampooing, seated bathing and multiple uses. Am not using this showerhead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look, easy to install. I love the pulsating function on this shower head. It was easy to install and looks great! My only hesitation to give it all 5 star rating is that it has a plastic valve that attaches to the metal pipe that comes out of the wall.
