Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pat Nicholson always a good product
Be a better product IF it came with a good handle... but I suppose that would drive up the price!

I bought half a dozen Nicholson files from Home Depot last summer. They get used for lots of things, tidying up things cut from sheet metal, cleaning up burrs on cut-off bolts and screws, rounding off edges of wood, metal and plastic.
Don't try to use them bare, you'll stab yourself in the palm with the tang (just trust me on this OK?) Either buy the cheap plastic handles, or make your own. I turned a few by chucking up a blank in my little drill press and pretending it was a lathe, and that works well. Then when i had access to a lathe again, I had more fun turning handles on the lathe and using bits of salvaged copper water pipe for ferrules.
Buy a file card, or at least a fine brass brush so you can keep them clean.

I purchased this file to take the edge off of a formica desk top. It worked perfectly and seamlessly.

Its a file, it does what it is supposed to. I love these files because after about a year of hard use they make great knifes.

I loved this Flat B****** in Austin Powers 3!

In all seriousness, this is a great file for a low price. I had some metal shower trim I had to install that needed to be rounded to fit my shower contour. This file took it down to the profile I needed in no time. Make sure you don't forget to buy the handle for it too!

I used this file to put an "Edge" on my new 8lb Maul Axe. It did a great job!
