Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Edradio These chisel files were good in a pinch.
For a combination use product, this is okay.
I did have to sharpen each one out of the package.
The files seem to get in the way on close work, but for the price and sudden need that I had it was sufficient.
I used them to shave out hinge recesses for a door.

The chisels keep an edge and the rasps really come in handy, for fine tuning.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rusty The prefect combination
Love the steel strike plate my old chisels have wood handles and they are chipped apart. These are made in the US out of forged steel for strength with virtually unbreakable handles. With minimal care I should have these for years.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Coolbone Excellent Product!!!
These are well made instruments. They have a impact resistant handle with the ergonomic design which is very comfortable when using. I just used them to install an electronic key pad deadbolt lock which I had to chisel out the wood for a better fit for the latch. They are very sharp and went through the wood like butter. I was very impressed with the quality steel chisels as well as their durability and light weight. Each chisel comes with a plastic top for safety when storing. They also have a steel strike plate which is very convenient along with the edge teeth which you can utilize when needing to remove materials in confined areas.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Great Quality, So Versatile
I was amazed how useful and versatile these chisel/files are. What a great idea to combine a flat file, a round file and a chisel into one piece. The file is extremely coarse. I'd like a set that has a file a little less coarse, but these work great. The steel is high quality which means the sharpness of the chisel and the file will last a long time.
Best of all are the really comfortable and strongly attached handles. I hate chisel handles that are thin, and these are nice and thick. And if you've ever used a file with a handle that comes loose you'll appreciate these.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Good if space is limited
I would recommend these if you have limited space for tool storage. They are several tools in one, but that makes them less handy for me to use as a chisel or to file. They feel good in my hands, but I'm having trouble getting adjusted to their design. If you like to lay just a few tools out at a time and work at a bench, these are probably ideal. If I need to do serious shaping, I'm going to reach for a regular chisel set and regular files. These seem heavy enough in all respects, but I'm old school.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Salex Lots of functions for a basic utility set
This is a good, basic, multi-purpose set for coarser woodworking tasks. The rasps are decent. The chisel tips, however, are pretty dull right out of the box. This is probably fine if you're doing coarse trim work with relatively soft wood. For weekend DIYers who want a versatile tool for basic work, this is a good value set. But if you're doing cabinetry or making furniture you'd either need to spend a lot of time sharpening the chisels or get a dedicated chisel set.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dustyroad2012 shave it, bang it and rasp it, into place
Out of the packaging, the chizels are not sharp, so be prepared to spend more money to make them sharp. The rasp on both sides, are very useful. I see this set on a construction job site. I did beat the ends of the chizels with a hammer and they seemed to take the abuse. The handle is pretty bulky, so if you need chizels for any kind of detail, do not buy this set. If you need to quickly shave it, bang it and rasp it, into place, this set is for you.
