Product Overview

Our easy-to-install Nite Ize 1 Watt LED Upgrade and IQ Switch Combo transform your simple AA Mini Maglite flashlight into an ultra-bright, multi-functional tool. Replace your current incandescent bulb with the 1 Watt LED and instead of its old, dull yellow glow, your flashlight beams bright white flood and focused spot light. With its long (50,000 hour) life, you'll never have to replace it again, and because LED bulbs use less power, your AA batteries will last longer. Secure the IQ Switch on the other end, and you'll instantly have 5 light mode (100%, 50%, 25% power, slow, fast strobe) and 3 power level capabilities, so you can choose the function you need for whatever task you have at hand. Equipped with a find-in-the-dark flashing LED to make location a snap, the IQ Switch also knows to turn itself off after 14.5 minutes of non-use. An excellent (dare we say brilliant) way to improve function and battery efficiency while reducing waste.

  • Features focusable 65 lumen LED Bulb
  • 6 hour run-time
  • Beam projects 60 meters
  • Save money on replacement bulbs and batteries for your AA Mini Maglite

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fantastic piece of hardware. Nite eze puts out some great products. With the IQ switch you will be able to find the flashlight in the dark. June 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not fit right. If you need an LED conversion do not buy this, buy a whole new flashlight. September 25, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth buying This is probably a good upgrade if you have a Minimag that you have had since you got it as a Christmas present when you were 10. If you are overly sentimental about the Minimag you have had for years, but you just want more light than the Xenon bulb can muster, this would be a GREAT way to go. On the other hand, if you are just looking for a brighter Minimag, there are more cost effective (and brighter) ways to go. One is the Minimag Pro. For about $23 ($2 less than this drop-in), you can get a brand new Minimag Pro. Not only do you get a shiny, new light. But instead of 65 lumens, you get a whole 225 lumens. MUCH better if you ask me. Also, for a mere $5 MORE, you can get the 3D-2AA combo pack. The Minimag here is not nearly as bright as the Minimag Pro. But at 77 lumens, it's still significantly brighter than this drop-in. Oh, and you get a 'free' 141 lumen 3D Maglite along with the package. Not bad for just $5 more. I'm certainly not knocking the Nite-Ize drop-in here. It's certainly a quality product. But for the price, there are DEFINITELY better ways to go here. Like I said, if your deceased Grandpa got you a Minimag when you were 10, and it means ALOT to you, it would certainly be worth getting this drop-in. But if you just want a brighter Minimag, it's better just to get a new light. December 20, 2012
