I live in a semi under ground apartment and can not here when the door is knocked on I bought a door bell that works when it wants to. you have to wiggle the button to make it work. A guess would not know that. If I put a sign out to wiggle it I might have well put a sign out that says beat the heck out of the door I cant hear you come a knockin

The packaging says that it will replace MOST flashlight bulbs that are powered by 2-6 C- or D-cell batteries, but did not specify which ones. I bought it prepared for it not to work. It was an expensive experiment, but would have been wonderful if it would have worked. I tried it in 2 flashlights that are powered by 2 D-cells. After it did not work in either, I tried it in another flashlight powered by a 6V lantern battery (which would be the equivalent of 4 1.5V C- or D-cells). It did not work in that one either. In all 3 flashlights, the bulb lights up for an instant when you are switching the flashlight on or off. However, it is not lit when the switch is fully on or fully off. I tried to find the spot in between on and off and hold the switch there, hoping to keep it on. However, I could never get the bulb to stay lit for more than an instant. Either the range is too small to find, or the bulb switches itself off right after turning on, as if it is overloaded.

Product purchased because there were no conventional 2-cell flashlight bulbs available in store. Although quite expensive for what it is, the LED does provide sufficient light at 3 volts DC and will hopefully outlast a conventional bulb. We shall see.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Excellent Upgrade for work or emergency flashlight
Whats not to like. Nice bright light. 10 year (minimum) bulb life with rated 100,000 hr burn time. Best bulb to have in a flashlight that may be used for emergencies or any time you may need light for a long time without the need for new batteries, 80 hrs on 3 D batteries, more on larger flashlights. Upgrade older 3 to 6 cell flashlight to LED is more economical less wasteful than buying a new replacement LED flashlight..

I have purchased two of these L.E.D. bulbs for flashlights... one light is blue in color temperature... the other is pure white in color temperature.

Bought this to replace a burnt out bulb. Gives so much more light. Love it. Now I can see better in dark places.

Have 3 big mag lights and 2 minimags, never felt the battery life was that good. But I upgraded the mini's a couple years ago. As soon as I saw they had something for the big one I got it.

Gives more light however I'm not sure worth the price. A LED flashlight costs more but gives more light.
