I bought this paper to complete a pre-stain sanding effort for a small carpentry project. I had already sanded the pine 1x4s with 150 grit Norton paper and wanted to clean them up with the 220 before staining. This paper got the job done, but I wasn't happy with the durability as the paper wore out quickly. I'll probably try a different brand the next time around.

To have a general grade sandpaper on hand, I purchased this product which appears will suffice for my general and limited needs.

It is what it is... state of the art, if you provide the elbow grease.
