Answer:
Yes, when the fan runs. Mildly disruptive in a small, closed office. Also makes the office warm. Runs for a few minutes a couple of times a day. Always having Ice makes it worth it

Answer:
It makes a little noise but not much more than when your refrigerator runs. Maybe a little more. It sounds like an older computer with one of those louder than normal cooling fans in the back. It's 15 feet away from where I watch TV and doesn't affect that experience one bit. And it only makes noise when it's making the ice. When the hopper is full it sits quiet. Hope this helps.

Answer:
You won't even notice. It runs but it's very quite and when the ice dumps it's less noisy than a normal ice maker in your freezer

Answer:
When full, we move ice to a traditional freezer as we have found if you keep it in the maker too long, while it stays frozen perfectly, it tends to stick together.

Answer:
The full hopper will keep ice for 24 hours but it will shrink and crystallize a little bit. The full hopper is easy to remove with ice inside so you could turn the unit off and place it in a freezer if one was nearby.

The ice will remain in the basket and the unit will quit making ice when the basket is full. Ice does not need to be transferred if the machine is left on.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wish I had thought of it years ago Having never purchased/owned a product of this sort I wasn't sure what to expect. Very simple and straight forward and it does DEFINITELY crank out ice. Keep it filled with water (distilled is my recommendation) and, generates a new load every few minutes. Takes a day or so to get used to the new noises (not loud or irritating) that it makes as it functions, but, compared to buying ice for parties and such it is great little appliance. We liked the retro red look, but, understand it might be a little overstated for some. July 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It's okay It does make cubes, but the first couple of batches take a long time to complete. Also, you have to remove the cubes right away or they will start to melt. I use the Large setting only, as the medium and small cubes melt too fast. I have no experience with any other small portable ice makers, so don't really know if this one performs better or worse. December 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Balogna--called manufacturer and they agreed the ice storage was not correct--wasted a day of my life does not hold or produce the amount of ice advertised October 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Buy It Won't Last Long Bought this machine in August of 2014 and it died January 2015. Fan quit spinning and now won't make ice. Can't find part anywhere. Looked cool but definitely not worth the money spent. June 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Little Ice Maker We purchased this Ice Maker for our office. Makes Ice quickly and enough for our 3-5 staff members who are in the office throughout the day. Quiet, runs efficiently. Love the retro look. We have only had this product about 2 weeks but so far love it. Don't know how we managed without it. July 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My iced tea finally has ice! Our fridge has no icemaker, and there's way too much food in the freezer to keep ice trays in it. Tired of no ice or having to buy bags that melted, I originally tried out a different refurb icemaker from another site, but it quit after the 4th time using it. Sent that back, and found this as a replacement, which does exactly what it says. It may be noisier than a built-in icemaker, but it produces ice at a decent rate. No, it is not cold enough to hold the ice, so it tends to be a bit watery at first, but the longer it runs, the better the cube formation. We bag the ice as the bin fills and toss it in the freezer to use as needed. Bonus - The red ice maker matches my red Kitchenaid mixer! August 5, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Already Broken I only used this 4 or 5 times then it began to make less than half of the cubes it had been making per cycle. Then it made only 3 cubes and now it won't make any. May 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed It looked nice but did not keep ice very hard very long. You need to constantly remove ice from machine and put in refrigerator to get hard and last. October 3, 2014
