Nostalgia Vintage Hot Air Pop Corn Maker is a healthy alternative for making pop corn. It works very well out of the box. The steps to popping are different. Start machine, run 2 minutes, shut off machine, add corn and turn machine back on. The popping starts fast. It only takes a couple of minutes to fill bowl. There was some un- popped kernels in the bowl. Good machine for the money, it looks Great and fun to use.

I love this old fashioned style popcorn popper. One feature I love is that it does not use oil.
The popcorn is popped by hot air instead of oil. Much healthier for you and the popcorn tastes
delicious. I popped some last night and the aroma through out the house smelled so good. Smelled
like I just walked into a movie theater..ha. For the 5 of us we cooked two batches and there was
none left in the bowl. I thought I would have some left over but it went fast. So that would tell
you the popcorn was quite tasty. We did sprinkle a bit of sea salt and a bit of melted butter (was not
real butter though) over the popcorn and man it was delicious. I had not had any popcorn in a long time.
The Popcorn Stand really works great and it is fun to watch. We used a big bowl to catch the popcorn
and it all went right into the bowl. None of it flew out anywhere so did not have to pick up popcorn
everywhere. The clear plastic shoot on the front keeps it going right in the bowl.
Everyone loved the taste of the popcorn.
This popcorn popper will be nice for when my great nieces and nephews come in. They will love watching
it and better still eating it.
We used the measuring cup like it said it that was a nice feature to know exactly how much to use.
After we poured the popcorn kernels into the popcorn maker all we did was plug it in and that was all.
So easy. I remember as a kid our mother would stand at the stove and shake the pot until the popcorn
was made. This popcorn maker is so easy to use. I love anything that is quick and easy in the kitchen
and this popcorn maker rates right up there.
We can now fix healthy snacks fast.
The Popcorn Popper looks cute sitting on our island in the kitchen. Several people have said they need
to get one of those. Well if you love popcorn to snack on I would recommend taking a look at this Vintage
Measurments are 16 3/4 inches high - 7 1/4 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches depth.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 4u1fisherman Cute little popcorn maker
This replica looking hot air popcorn maker looks nice on the counter top and is easy to use. Plug it in and heat it up, turn it off and add popcorn, turn it back on and shortly after that there is fresh hot popcorn. As with any hot air popper you add the seasonings after it is done. The hot air popper is much healthier than microwave corn but a little drier. The unit is all plastic on the outside with a metal heating chamber. Needs to cool down between popings.

The design of this vintage style air popcorn popper is adorable! It’s pretty cool to look at on the shelf, and gets comments from all new visitors to the house. Really Cute! It also pops a bowl of popcorn relatively quick-like.
It’s very easy to use. The instructions say that the popper should be turned on to warm up for a couple of minutes before pouring in the popcorn and if you don’t, you get quite a few “Old Maids” jumping into the bowl initially. Follow the instructions! It’s important!
When you let it warm up for 3-4 minutes, you usually get about 90% of the kernels to pop. You must unplug and then shake/tilt the unit to free popped kernels that have a tendency to hang up inside the machine. Really not a big deal…
I’ve found that you need to add melted butter and seasonings to get any flavor out of the popcorn, and I can readily guess that the “Hot Air” popping method adds absolutely NO flavor. It’s really kind of like “popped cardboard”. This popper works great if you follow the heating instructions, and the Grandkids love watching it do it’s thing. It isn’t really a great popper for giving you that “Movie Theater Popcorn Flavor”, but that “CAN” be had with just a few minor additions.
I’ve learned that I can make it taste good, and I really love the nostalgic design of the machine. I think that once you know and understand its limitations, a great time can be had by all. I give it a thumbs up!!!

OK, I've had 2 previous hot air popcorn makers and both were disappointing. This new unit isn't much better. If you like dry, flavorless popcorn, then this unit is for you. The popcorn is so dry, salt won't stick to it without buttering it first. If you have to do that, then you'd be better off using microwave popcorn. Yes, the popcorn it makes is healthier for you, but I prefer taste over health when it comes to popcorn. It only pops six tablespoons of popcorn at a time, then must wait fifteen minutes before popping again, a real negative. Also, a lot of popcorn gets caught in the popping chamber and top housing so you must physically tilt and shake the unit to free the stuck popcorn so it will fall into the bowl, another negative.
This is one of the few products I have ever given a bad review to and couldn't recommend.

This vintage style air corn popper brought just the added touch we have been looking for as an addition to our media room. It brings an appropriate old time charm to the room for family night and it also pops a great bowl of popcorn in just a few minutes.
This air popper sits conveniently on a side table and is very easy to use. The instructions specify that the popper should be turned on to warm up for a couple of minutes before pouring in the popcorn and I have found that to be a very important step. If you pour in the popcorn and then turn on the popper, many of the kernels do not have enough time to heat before the bottom kernels start popping. This ends up pushing out many unheated kernels and popping only about half of the total amount.
On the other hand letting the popper warm up for at least 2 minutes, (for our house we let it run 3-4 minutes), then pour in the kernels directly from the top. The end results is usually 99-100% of all the kernels get popped completely. On a couple of occasions, after the first batch is popped, we add more kernels and continue popping until we are finished with a second batch. After we have finished popping the popcorn, I turn off and unplug the unit, then pour any stuck kernels into the bowl and let the unit cool down for next time.
Since getting this popper, our family has made popcorn at least once or twice a week for a evening snack while watching TV or a movie together. We could not be happier.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by homedepotluvr Didn't work at all
This product didn't function at all and as soon as I purchased it, it started to smoke heavily and then just broke. When we took it to the store to return, I found out they only sell it onilne, so they couldn't replace it.
