I've always bought products with good ratings and seeing what the lower reviews had in common. I purchased this set when it was on-sale and was expecting a value product with relatively low expectations. The package arrived and I noticed that instead of one box with all three guns it but they were boxed separately. Each box contained the Gun, some oil and an hex key. The oil is essentially an open once and hope it doesn't tip over ever type bottle.
Now to the main part, the Nail Guns.
I was surprised how heavy duty they felt. They were heavy for their size and were very simple in design(which is a good thing). Each gun was equipped with a adjustable vent to direct the air exhaust, which is a nice feature.
The weight of each gun has its advantages and disadvantages. The only disadvantage of a heavy gun is if you hold it or carry it constantly.
On the upside, the weight does contribute to a lesser recoil as it has a heavier mass. It shows that it is very durable, to which I can attest as I have dropped it a few times with a little scratch showing.
Use wise, I couldn't really ask for much more. I'm not a contractor, nor someone who makes a lot of stuff each day. I use this for little projects around the house, such as making a chest, putting up molding, etc.
When I was making a chest using Pine boards, I did not experience any problems. I have read before hand that the loading mechanism for one of the guns was a bit difficult to use, but I did not have problems with loading the guns at all.
I do admit, that one of guns(brad nailer I believe) did have a weird loading mechanism. Basically, on the top of the magazine, you have to slide the pusher to the back which will lock a tension mounted sheet of metal. Once the slot is exposed, you simply drop the nails and move the sheet outwards to let the loader slide back.
I did not have a single miss fire during the use of the nailers, nor a jam.
Some things I did not like was there where no rubber tips for the brad or pin nailer. So for softer woods, it would cause a dent in the wood. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as the nailer would go through the dent. But if you needed to move the nail to a different spot, then you would be left with a dent.
Not sure if this was just my gun, but it does dry fire once there are no nails. This is bad as you get a bigger dent in your project.
I do wish the Kit contained a heavy gauge finish nailer as for me the gauge is slightly too thin.

I found the set online for a very discounted price. I figured, why not try it. I was not dissapointed. I am a shop teacher as well as a home hobbiest and they fit the bill for both applications.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Steve They work really well
This set duplicates finish nailers that I already own. Home Depot offered these on a one day sale and I couldn't resist having a backup set. I've been using them daily and they work great. Keep them clean and oiled, use quality fasteners and they should run for many years.

I've been wanting a pin nailer, and so far it's the only item that I've used out of the kit. The 22 gauge leaves a small hole that's almost invisible, which is what I wanted it for. The max length of the pins limits the usefulness of attaching different materials, but for what I wanted to use it for it's worked flawlessly.
I did have one jam but it was easy to clear and don't know if it was the gun or the pins.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Dennis Great product for the price
I purchased This combo on one of the daily special Home Depot has everyday. At first I saw the special price 69.00 and thought good price, but I thought quality might not be good. Wrong, these nail guns have worked just perfect for the project I do Around my house, no jamming. Even with the regular price I would pay it because it is worth your money.
