Depending on the size of nails you are using, I would have to say yes. It uses full size framing nails, which I have used, and hot dip galvanized nails for a patio cover, which make for a long lasting nail up.

I bought it to build my deck, a lot nailing, but anywhere or any thing that takes nails, this is the nail gun to use. Not as fancy as others, but it never jammed, misfired, or anything wrong. I can't say how long it will last, but ever now and then, buy it. If you are in the construction industry, buy a Dewalt!!!

I personally would not use it for deck building, a repair job yes but not the building itself. There are much better solutions such as Deck screws specifically meant for blind nailings. Decks are one of those projects that specifically products really can make the job easier and longer lasting. For building jobs it is fine.

Yes. I have a Porter Cable Clipped Head Nailer, but do to Local Regs, I needed the full round head offered by this type nailer. For the price it cost, it is a super buy. I never had a hang-fire, and it performed superbly, Make sure you add the oil each day and keep it clean. It is well worth the time and energy to use this - your arms will thank you. Hope this helps, good luck with the job.

I have been using a 10 gallon, 2.5 HP - works good for me. Lot of people use the pancake compressor - they come in 3&6 gallons. It is an excellent gun, and I recommend it; suggest you oil it up purchase and when you finish each day - cheap security!

Answer:
Since it needs about 100 psi to shoot the nails, a 150 psi compressor will do fine. Most any compressor does that, so it's really down to the amount of air your compressor produces. Then it's down to how you intend to use the gun. If it's personal, not commercial use, you have more control on how fast and many nails you would like to shoot.

October 23, 2015
Answer:
Typically a 3 gallon or larger will work fine. You need a minimum of 75psi output to the nailer and it will fire with a max of 115psi. The larger tank compressor you buy, the less the compressor will have to run to keep sufficient output psi to the nailer.

Answer:
I would say "not very well". Often had to finish setting nail with a couple strokes of hammer. The large ring at firing end of nailer prevents getting flush set of nail. However I did not fiddle with depth adjustment in attempt to improve toenailing performance.

depends on the spacing. I was able to use it for toe nailing but it is a pretty big nailer. If your clearance is tight you won't be able to angle it into the space.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product for DYI Guys Although I was a little concerned about the quality of this gun due to it being quite inexpensive, as compared to others, it absolutely performed flawlessly. I used the gun to construct a garden-shed and it never once had a miss-fire or problem.. I would definitely recommend this for the DYI guy that has small construction projects to complete around the house. July 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Get what you pay for Broke in 8 months. You get what you pay for. Wish I'd have spend an extra $150 on a Hitachi. You really need to baby this thing, unlike my coworkers who drop their Hitachis on a regular basis and keep on truckin. Things I disliked about it: -Nails are difficult to load. -Gun is big and doesn't fit in tight places -Heavy and weight is not supported well by where you hold the gun. You get tired from holding this thing all day. Shoots well tho. Till it broke June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can't beat the price I built a deck but did't want to use hammer and nails. Never jammed, misfired or anything like that. May 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent for the weekend warrior i have no gripes with this gun other than the weight. i could see it being a little tough for everyday use, but as for my weekend projects, its been super! September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hammertime I do home improvements. My workers like this gun alot. Even better than my more expensive guns. For the money (excellent ) August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent framing nailer at economical price I'm in the process of finishing my basement and figured that since the basement will be used to support my lazy habit of watching TV on the couch most nights that I didn't want to over exert myself in the actual building of the basement. Swing a hammer repetitively for a few weeks? No way. So, I picked up the nailer, bought a 50-foot rubber hose and the quick-connect attachments, and hooked it up to my 3 gallon pancake compressor. To my surprise, my little compressor powered it just fine. The nailer works great! And, my goal of not over-exerting myself was accomplished! I couldn't be happier. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'm glad I got this Framing Nailer. This framing nailer had a lot of great reviews so I bought it. I'm using it to build a shed and so far it had been performing flawlessly. For the 10 days I've been using it not one nail has jammed. The price was right and it does the work. I'm really happy I bought this framing nailer and this shed project would have been tough without this nailer. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nu Max Framing Nailer Purchased it to build a storage building it performed flawlessly, not one jam or any other issues. A little heavier than the expensive brands, but for a third of the price, putting up with a little extra weight was not a issue. I would highly recommend it for home use. August 16, 2016
