Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by txarchitect Nutone again after 54 years.
I replaced a 54 year old Nutone 903 heater dated April 1959 in my Mid-Century home. The old bathroom heater had a housing diameter of 13 1/4 inch - the same as the new QT9093WH! No sheetrock repair and a vent, light and night light instead of just a heater!
Quality construction. Metal grill - not the cheap plastic usually found on vents and heaters. Cost a bit more but with it. Looks great and fits the decor perfectly!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Product!!!
Vent lights are rarely offered with heaters these days. Further, the ones that come with heaters are usually large, boxy rectangles.
This unit is round and very attractive, a snap to install, quiet and efficient. A great product!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Syd4444 Bad Design, Good Functionality
This is the thing, after reading countless positive reviews, I cannot believe that NO ONE has mentioned this major aesthetic flaw. Looking up into the light, you see all the inner components of the light, giving a very industrial icky look. you can see a white sticker with blue writing, a red wire, white wire.. it's pretty ludicrous. There is very little aesthetic quality to this light, and I know it's a bathroom light, but look around your house- a lot of design attention is given to your light fixtures. This light has the aesthetic value of a public bathroom. Totally disappointed on that point. When I called Nutone they really didn't seem phased by this issue.
The actual product functionality is great. Heater is wonderful, fan is nice and a little noisy which we were hoping for a little bathroom privacy, and you can leave the fan off and just have the light. It is great for all those things.
Another complaint is it can take a 100w bulb, but only a 100w incandescent bulb will fit, not a 100w fluorescant or LED. Now I don't know a lot about the tech specs of this, when I called Nutone the guy seemed to feel that a 75w fluorescent is equal to a 100w incandescent. Anyway, I wish we could have a little brighter light in the bathroom, and it is weird that the product seems to be designed for incandescent, when the whole world is trying to move to the future in environmentally responsible products. I ended up getting a 75w led.
So bottom line, yes I like it but I thought we were splurging for the $300 model to get something really really nice and it could use some room for improvement.
Also, the directions do not correspond at all with the product. My handyman had no trouble, but if you are at all a novice, do not attempt to do this on the weekend as Nutone's technical phone line is closed on the weekends if you have any questions.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NGAng Noisy and looks bad after a few years
This fan is noisy. I wish I'd purchased something else but we wanted the heater. After a few years the white grille is distorted and the paint is pealing. Very poor quality and a replacement grille costs ~$90 !

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by johnmoo We have loved our Nutone Exhaust Fan with Light and Heater in our master bath since 1982. Finally found Home Depot on-line.
We have loved our NUTONE Exhaust Fan with Light and Heater in our master bath since 1982 (2-1-12). As we remodeled a guest bathroom and after looking all over town, all I could find were cheap plastic units. I finally found the NUTONE I wanted at Home Depot on-line. Home Depot had the most competitive price and our electrician said this unit was about one-half the price he had seen on other installs--plus it comes with a 4 toggle switch. We enjoy the night light for our grandchildren. If this unit works for 30 years--we will be happy consumers!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thumper I bought this product because it was the same brand and model number as our old one.
Although it was the same model number as our old one the demensions were slightly different, so it didn't fit very well in the same hole as my old fan. Our old fan was over fifteen years old. The heater on the fan I use all the time. It makes getting out of the shower a pleasant experience.you can shut off the heater and just us the exhaust fan or you can shut off both of those features and just use the light. We had great customer service and ordering this product was simple and easy and shipped right to my door.I rated this product five stars because I've had this product before and it lasted a long time and gave us great service.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tiredofremodeling very nice and sturdy unit
We are doing a total br remodel and selected this unit based on reviews and reputation. This fan/heater is very well made and performs well.
It is a bit louder than I had hoped but still quieter than the unit it replaced and is not unacceptable by any means.
The heat works well, and it comes with switches, wall plates and ceiling mount.
It does NOT come with the vent kit so make sure you have one if it is for a new install.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by longbid A little low on CFM
Unit seems to be well built and has easy instructions.
A little disappointed at the amount of exhaust flow.
Barely holds a piece of toilet paper on the grill.
I read previous reviews on the longevity on this particular unit.
Have only had it for a few weeks now and time will tell.
It is installed in an upstairs colonial house bathroom which definitely needed some circulation.
I would recommend this only for the lights and heater.Exhaust recommendation is still in the air.
I did register the unit online and put a comment in about the products performance and lo and behold I had a representative from Nu Tone reply and stated it's warranty.
Nu Tone seems to care!
Not many companies still give old time service.
I will rate the company 100%
