It will be working with electricity 230/50Hz?

Hello I live in in Europe, where we have electricity 230 V / 50 Hz and we don't have experience with this kind of heating, we have a small summer house and think about heating lamps in 2 small bathrooms I can buy your product via internet , but I must be sure that will work correctly and safely with our electric current
Asked by: monika
Thank you for your interest in this product. Unfortunately, this unit will only operate on the120 V, not 230V, 50 Hz. We would not recommend that you install this in the summer house. Thank you.

Heats how much square feet?

We have a semi-large master bathroom? What square footage will this unit comfortably heat?
Asked by: TheOpinionatedVeteran
The heating effect depends upon how long the unit is left on, but within 15 minutes it will raise the temperature at least 5 degrees over an area of 100 square feet from floor to ceiling. The radiant heat is augmented by the small fan that operates inside the unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This heater is made for a small enclosed bathroom. ... This heater is made for a small enclosed bathroom. I have a large open bathroom. The amount of heat from the lamp is not enough to make a difference. It does give off a good amount of light and Is nice looking heating lamp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for I wanted a heat lamp for my second floor bath. My contractor was concerned about the space due to pitch of roof. This went in beautifully. What I didn't know but was pleased to find is that it has a fan between the two bulbs to help circulate the heat. I am looking forward to using it in the cold Chicago winters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit and finish This would be very easy to install before sheet rock is installed. I had to install in an existing bathroom so I couldn't use the provided brackets that would allow you to mount to both joists. Holes were punched in sides to allow nailing or screwing one side to floor joist/ceiling rafters. Needed to cut the hole a little larger than the galvanized housing in order to mount but the bezel covered the opening nicely. Nice feature is a small fan to move heat away from bulbs

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install and price was reasonable Free shipping didn't apply to the bulbs, so we purchased those in store. We Installed it with clear bulbs-not the red. Warms up the bathroom but the heat would probably be better felt with an 8 foot ceiling rather than our 9 foot ceiling. Overall we are happy with the purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 lights in 1 Install last week was straightforward with well written instructions. The 2 lights can be wired independently. I have one as a heat lamp on its own switch - choose the socket with the red wire. Wired the other to light switch to give ceiling light. Feel heat when standing directly underneath heat lamp.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't do much in a larger bathroom I have a larger bathroom (two sinks, tub and shower) and installed this right outside the shower. Had to have an electrician do the work. Had been using a space heater before. It doesn't warm as much as I had hoped but does help some on cold mornings. The little circulating fan rattles some times, but not always. Would only consider if have a small bathroon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The heat is on in cool master bath The ceiling heater works very well with the solid-state, push-button timer control switch that was installed at the same time. The project was not easy to accomplish without disturbing the existing ceiling and wall finishes. The installation included a sheetrock-covered fireproof surround in the overhead roof trusses, additional insulation, addition of a third gang to a wall switch box for the control switch and connecting wiring. This installation would be much easier in new construction or major renovation with exposed framing. All of the material used in the project was acquired at Home Depot and all with good results.
