We do not have an upgrade kit to fit your fan. However, we do sell the replacement fan assembly. It is part # S97012029. It can be ordered at the Special Order Desk at your local Home Depot store.

None that I can see for that specific model but the grill should be big enough to cover the hole. You could try one to see if the guts would work, it comes with two different inside plates and one motor. It is very easy to replace.

Answer:
In my installation the noise level was decreased noticeably, but it's certainly not silent. You'll have to spend the big bucks for a top-of-the-line Nutone, Broan, Panasonic, etc. for that.

Answer:
No. This upgrade kit still operates at a 3.0 sone level.
As a comparison, a new refrigerator operates at approx. 1.0 sones.
If you want a silent, or almost silent, fan then you would need to purchase a model from our QT series fans.

Answer:
It should work, the box says that this upgrade kit will only fit the following models:
Broan 670, 671, 688, & 689 - The kit will work if your housing measures either 7½” x 7¼”
In my opinion, you would probably want to replace the whole thing with what's in the box.

All work can be done from a step stool in the room itself without need to crawl in the attic because the outer casing of the exhaust fan remains intact. Honestly, this kit was one of the best investments I've ever made in home repair.
I ordered my kit online from Home Depot and picked it up at the store, all in a period of about 3 hours. It was finished within a half hour of my returning home! I've included two photos to show my 690NT upgrade kit fully installed. Read Less

One note; I decided not to install the scroll band (a flexible plastic strip designed to improve/contain airflow within the fan housing). It didn't fit very tightly in my existing fan housing, and eventually slipped out of position and hit the impeller. You don't need it, but if you want it, you can always glue it in place. All in all, a much better solution than tearing my ceiling apart to retrofit a completely new fan housing in place of the old unit. Read Less

Hi, Mike. Thanks for your question. The 690NT Up-Grade Kit will work with several Nutone Models: 693, 695, and 696N. Our older 695 never had a "P"-version, but I feel fairly confident that it will work. However, If you would like to discuss this further, please contact our Technical Support group at the following toll-free number: 888-336-6151. Thanks, again.

60 CFM Bath Fan Upgrade Kit is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 262.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from If your fan housing looks like this photo, this is your upgrade! If your existing empty housing looks like the attached, then this kit will likely fit your housing. The box says that this unit will replace the following fans: NuTone 693, 695, 696N Broan 671, 688, 689 Nautilus N671, N688

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Bonafide "No-Brainer"! Rather than having to crawl into my cramped, floorless, insulation-filled attic to rip out and completely replace my failed Nutone 695 bath exhaust fan, I stumbled across this excellent kit. I'm 60 years old and not in the best physical condition, so the option of doing an improvement/replacement from inside the bathroom really appealed to me. I found that Home Depot's price was the best and, with its being so close by, I paid online and picked it up - all within a total of 4 hours! The installation itself went so smoothly and quickly that I could hardly believe it. Home repairs NEVER seem to go this well - EVER!! But it did, and the new, improved and quieter unit was running within 1 hour of returning home from my trip to the Depot! The kit's noise level is way quieter than the original Nutone 695 - 3.0 somes vs. 6.0 somes. The included upscale-looking replacement appearance vent cover really dresses it up nicely. The kit is rated for 60 cfm air flow, compared with the original fan's rating of 70 cfm. The small loss of air flow was a minor negative when you stop to consider the savings, quietness and ease of replacement it affords. If this kit is compatible with your bath exhaust fan (there are several), then consider this choice to be a bonafide no-brainer!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well worth it !!!!! When they say easy to install that's just what they say. It took me more time to clean the housing before installing the new unit. A flat tip screw driver really help in the taking out the old unit to release the tab. Baring getting the ladder, screw drive and taking the new unit out of the box it took me 10-to-15 minutes to install the new fan and mounting plate. It is much quitter at least 50% and does clear the steam much better then then the old one. The motor magnate's are twice the size of the old one and the fan is much bigger with at least 5 times more blades. I took a paper towel and it was held to the fan when turn on, excellent product, !!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good option for older weak fans I checked the sound level with a meter and it was indeed much quieter, not as certain that the volume was increased. But nice to have the option instead of opening op the ceiling to fix a weak unit. Liked it some much I got a second one for the other floor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from it works! I had 2 NuTone C350C2 B fans that were not on the compatibility list but needed replacement. This kit looked too perfect not to try and indeed it was a perfect fit - however I did not use the scroll band. There was some forcing needed due to the old enclosure not being square, but you could tell it was the same dimensions. I also reused the old retainer screw. The fan is quieter and more like white noise than a truck like the previous fan.. The modern grill is very nice also. I am fairly certain the new fan is not as effective as the previous fan but I value the lower db more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a simple solution to a common problem Most old bath fans either don't work or sound like the Spirit of Louis that carried Lindberg across the ocean. Tearing out the fan box and related ducting didn't seen like a fun weekend proposition. Finally a retrofit kits that literally installs in minutes without a big fuss. The worst part was cleaning up the dust bunnies that fell out of the old fan. I have replaced all 4 fans in our home and could not be more pleased. I spotted this kit in The Family Handyman magazine and made a bee line to Home Depot to make the purchase. Highly recommended.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked fine, until it didn't Easy to install. Moved air well. Not any quieter than the generic builder fan it replaced. After about a year, the fan started slipping on the motor shaft. Since the fan was spinning slower than the motor, it produced an awful sound and practically stopped moving air. I disassembled the unit and found that the shaft only spins the fan by friction of a couple small rubber washers surrounding the circular shaft. Those washers lose their grip over time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good replacement Fan This is a great product for those looking to replace an existing fan. The motor on our old one went bad and I was glad to find this product available. Note that I had to order it online - I previously was able to pick up in store but it doesn't seem to be stocked anymore. Installation is very straightforward. Remove the old van, select the correct plate, install the motor and scroll fan housing into the place and place into the existing opening. Plug in the wire and put the grill on. Installation took maybe 5 minutes total after I was done cleaning the housing with all the old dirt and dust that had accumulated.
