This fan is so much more aesthetically pleasing than what I previously had in my bathroom. Installation was easy and the fan an light work great. Came with the light bulb so I didn't have to purchase that separately. Fan is pretty quiet. The light is actually brighter than you'd expect. I would recommend.

We are renovating and needed a fan/light in my downstairs main bath to alleviate steam and this had one good reviews. I ordered online and it came quickly and in good condition. It is very stylish and quiet compared to most on the market. The fluorescent lighting is ample enough for additional light that peeks into the shower but not by itself as the sole source of light. It is relatively large in size. I did see a smaller one exactly like this when shopping at HD recently. I only took one star away because the mirrors still steam while showering, (unlike what some reviews said) but quickly dissipates once the water is off. I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Joseph Much better than the old fan it replaced
Install was a snap. We just bought this house and we are doing small upgrades around the house. We always kept the fan running while showering but the bathroom mirrors would still fog up. So since the fan is probably 15-20 years old, it was time for an upgrade.
We went with this model since it had a light included, energy star and was on the quiet end while still having good airflow. We can't hear it over the water running unlike the previous fan. It's very quiet but kept the room vented well.
Install was easy. I measured the opening of the old fan so I knew it was the same size. Most of the work is done in the attic so pick a cool day. The old fan was secured by two nails to the joists. These were reused and I used another 3 screws to make sure this was very secured to the joist. Take note of your duct size if your system is existing. I had to buy a reducer and 4" elbow since they only had 3" ductwork for the vent line. The vent may exit the housing on a different side than yours currently which means you might have to rework the vent piping.
I used silver backed tape which was in the same home depot aisle, it was even made for bathroom vent fans. I also put one or two sheet metal screws into the pipe joints to keep everything tight and sealed. It's very important to keep the attic air from coming back into the house. This fan accomplishes this by have a flapper on the outlet. I then used greatstuff foam to seal the housing to the drywall. I hate airleaks!
We picked a fan with a light to add light into our bathroom since it has no window. Another added plus is that the bulbs included at 3500K temperature which means they are light natural sunlight. It appears we have a skylight in the bathroom now. We can also choose to use the bathroom without turning on the vanity lights now (which are very bright).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rosebud Elogant look for my new Remodel!!!!
Couldn't be more pleased. I know the picture they show on the website looks Brassy. However, I can assure you it is not. It has a very classy brushed nickel look with alabaster dome. Nice long hot showers with no steamy mirror speaks volumes to the great job it's doing. I'm a DIY'ER and was able to install the fan itself with cutting the hole in the ceiling in about 25 minutes. I connected the light to my vanity switch and the fan to a timer. Love the extra amount of light in my bathroom.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 1763GJ STYLE AND FUNCTION IN A BATHROOM CEILING FAN
WE WERE LOOKING FOR A FUNCTIONAL CEILING FAN FOR OUR BATHROOM. THIS FAN/LIGHT COMBO ALSO LOOKS VERY "NON-FAN LIKE" MORE LIKE OUR FIXTURES SHOULD LOOK. NOT LIKE THE DULL PLASTIC OPTIONS THIS ITEM IS VERY MUCH MORE DECORATIVE THAN THOSE.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheCanoeCat Decorative fan that gets the job done!
I purchased two of these as a first step in remodeling my bathrooms. I have not had a working fan in my MBR bath since purchasing my home two years ago, so this is a huge improvement. The decorative fan pulls the moisture out quietly and quickly.
I was hesitant in buying these due to the required GU24 bulbs (included) However, I really like the bright white light of the fixture and how it changes the look of the rooms in a positive manner.
A friend installed these for me and he said the directions were fairly standard and straightforward. I assisted since I have no experience installing fans. It took about six hours to install two, but that included a lunch break, acquiring and preparing some wood, and installing a vent out through the roof for them.
I am pleased with these products and recommend them. I hope they have longevity.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jeni So quiet and bright!
This was to replace a cheap square plastic fan/light that had stopped working. Contractor installed in about 30 minutes. Fan is so quiet you'll forget to turn it off. Lights are bright and energy efficient.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HJane Quiet, Nicely Finished
We had been looking for an alternative to the plain white bathroom fan that sounded like an airplane at takeoff. In the middle of a quick bathroom makeover, we realized we could use some additional lighting, and the only place we could put it was were the fan already was. We found this. The product is attractive, looks like a decorative, light fixture in brushed nickel, and not a fan, at all. In fact, the fan feature is hidden totally. It is quiet - I believe 2 sones - and can be installed with separate switches for the light and for the fan, or, just one for both the fan and light. Installation was fairly easy as we already had a fixture in place - although we did build a new wooden box for it to attach to - the only issue was running the flex tubing to the closest soffit. The light itself is more fluorescent than expected, chould be brighter, and should not be used as task lighting. Overall, I am very happy with the appearance, light, and functionality of the product.
