The fan and its cover are compact in size. The exhaust capacity is powerful enough for a small bathroom. Very quiet. Easy to install.

if you have a rusting grille, just order a plastric grille that goes to a NuTone model 684NT. The hangers and hanger spacing are identical to the model 80NT. It fits right on, covers just a slightly larger area and looks better.

I've had this exhaust fan for a couple of years. It runs 24/7 and has been reliable while running reasonably quiet.

I must have the updated version based on the previous reviews. Installed for about 6 months now in a bathroom that did not have a fan previously. 0 moisture build up on the mirror and the fan is so quiet we forget its on at times. Adding this fan to my second bathroom.

Comstruction of product was marginal. Installed in existing location. Noise level higher than fan that was removed. In another location with same requirements, used a Panasonic fan. Much better construction half the noise level, well worth the extra money. Noise level will have me changing out the fan with Panasonic. Also fan has vibration noise as well.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 8dzaweek QUIET BUT HARD TO INSTALL
NOT FOR OLD OR EXISTING CONSTRUCTION. Can't be installed from the cutout below, must be dropped in unless you intend to cut a bigger hole and patch it. The biggest problem is the exhaust outlet is located at the very right side of the unit, making it impossible to put on the plastic connector without cutting out an inch of the stud it was supposed to be mounted to. A little more quality control or research could have prevented this if the exhaust housing was indented about a half inch...which would also allow the vent to slide on without cutting out more stud.
OTHERWISE the product is well built, and quiet and easy to wire in...but poor design. I would recommend it however if you plan before you install and cut the stud (at last trim an inch) before you drop the until in from the top. YOU MUST have about the unit access to install.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by cruxbuilds worked great for 3 years, then it died
This fan worked great in our bathroom for three years, not the motor rattles and sounds terrible. Nobody sells replacement parts for this fan so we have to buy the whole fan assembly to replace the bad motor. I'm switching brands, this product should last much longer in a house with only two people. Our grill also rusted, as other have said.
