Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Energy waster The damper is very flimsy and does not seal at all. I returned this unit without installing it because I don't want all my heated air escaping into the attic through the gaping hole. December 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 4 function Bathroom Exhaust fan Yes- I needed the Broan 3 Rocker 4-Function Wall Switch # 77DW with this fan. I wish I read all the reviews! The light bulbs are not included in this box. Other stock numbers include this. Now I had to order it and pay shipping. ODDLY-Not one electric or plumbing supply house, or HD had this in stock. Fan is quiet, heat is plentiful. Now- there is no need to put floor heat in my basement bathroom. Any exhaust would of worked. But these functions in one unit is awesome. Just wish the cover was more modern/ attractive. I can see right into the housing. Overall, well worth the money. September 4, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by returned I was looking forward to replacing my 15 year old similar product. However the body is much bigger and because of my ceiling construction of my add on bathroom, it would have been a lot of work. My electrician told me to get a carpenter if I wanted to install it. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Works well but heating element fails about every 2 years. The fans are quite, move a fair amount air and the lighting is real good. I am very satisfied with the vent and lighting. I do not use the heater but the wife does and this is where the problem is. I cannot seem to get more than 2 years out of a heating element. Unit installed in Nov 2007. Heating element failed & replaced under warranty Nov 2009. Heating element replaced Jan 2012. Heating element replace Oct 2013. Cost is just a bit under $50 and is easy to replace. I cannot recommend this to someone looking for a bathroom light, vent and heater because of the heating element failure rate. Before you buy any unit check out the cost of replacement parts. October 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best yet Although the NuTone 765HL I purchased a few months ago is a good unit, I really wanted a quieter vent fan. So I purchased the QTXN110HL, moved the 765 to a guest bathroon, and installed the Ultra Silent model in my bath. A lot of trouble, but what a result. I can hardly hear the fan run at all, and of course the heater is great. If you want quiet, go ahead and spend the extra $100 for the QTXN model. You'll be glad you did! May 29, 2010
