Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CompanyGuy Very, very quiet fan, install a bit finicky, weird delay when turned on
Nice fan overall and very quiet once install is figured out. The standard 4" vent creates too much resistance and causes a strange vibration/noise when the airflow sensor increases the fan speed to maintain 110 CFM. Problem was solved by going with a 6" vent. It is a DC powered fan which leads to ~ 5 second delay when fan switch is turned on. Not a big issue once you are aware, but guests and renters will probably think the fan just doesn't work and turn the switch off before the fan gets started.

Never would I have imagined I would spend over $200 on an exhaust fan, but I have three kids who shower no less than once a day at thirty minutes a pop and my old fan could no longer keep up. I bought this hoping to keep the fan noise down and the steam from billowing out of the bathroom when they come out. Well I hired a pro to install. glad I did. and he came downstairs and said that is one of the best fans I have ever installed it is so quite he had to put a tissue under it to see if it was really working...... and it sucked that tissue right up to the fan and held it. awesome. no regrets

Installation instructions good. Wiring might be a challenge for those without electrical experience. You need to run a piece of 14-4 (or two pieces of 14-2) cable to the unit. Light is bright, bulbs included. Fan is quiet, so you wonder how much air it is moving. I installed it with the Leviton humidity sensing wall switch. We'll see if it cures my mold issue. Only complaint is the ceiling finish cover which is mounted to the unit with an expanding retention spring similar to that used on a trim unit to a recessed light. The cover does not snug up real tight to the ceiling.
Don't buy this unit unless you intend to install it with the recommended 6 inch duct.

Overall the fan is very quiet. Installation was a more complicated than the instructions suggested.

I bought this as a replacement and they said it was a easy job. the frame was bent when I unboxed it so I had to straighten that out before install. It said this was the most quiet fan and you had to be careful not to leave it running as you could not hear it, not true only if you have your hearing aids run over by a tractor. The only plus is it moves the air out and the mirror does not fog up. The cover does not fit square with the fan so it looks like a poor installation, Not sure if I would spend this much on this fan again as the quality is not worth the price

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fred Good quality fan
Good quality fan, quite and easy installation. No more mirror fogging as exhaust works great with only noise from air movement. I bought the 6 inch-to-4 inch adapter at HD; the cable strain relief should have been included with the fan as it is a cheap part but I was able to re-use the one from the old fan housing. As others have commented, the cover should be a bit more robust.
