Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Replacement Unit The last ones lasted about 12 years in our bathrooms. All started to get noisy at around the same time, so it was time to replace. Turns out the replacement core units are almost twice the price of the entire unit from Ho-Dee, so I bought complete ones and simply swapped out the fan units themselves. No issues - the dimensions are the same today as they were back then, luckily. Really didn't want to replace the housings in the ceiling! June 17, 2014
