Mop handle broke within 5 mins of using it. Only got to ring out the sponge 3 times. Unable to reattach metal to the plastic handle. Home depot needs to remove products like this from its shelves!

The mop head falls apart in a short amount of time. I thought it was something I did and bought 2 more refills. The 2nd head didn't even last to finish the floor. I hope the 3rd head at least lets me finish. Looking for another mop.

Would I recommend this product to a friend? Maybe if I secretly hated them. I had this mop before and it worked fine for a while before the sponge head ripped off and I couldn't eject it from the base. It had lasted long enough and I only wanted one to last until I moved, a few months down the line, so I got this one. This time the mop broke the second time I used it! The handle that allows you to squeeze the mop head, eject it, or replace it broke... after ejecting the head, of course. I'm now left with a sponge and a red plastic stick. Don't buy this, no matter how short a time you need it for.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GWrites My Kingdom For a Mop That Isn't a Piece of Junk!
Purchased in-store so did not read the reviews. These people aren't kidding. Sponge started shedding pieces on the very first use. PLUS, a couple things I don't see mentioned here:
1) the scrubber juts out further than it seems to in the picture. When you try to mop in a tight space or a corner it hits the wall so you can't get the edges of the room. Behind the toilet? Impossible!
2) I am 5' 10" and the handle is about four inches too short, meaning I have to lean way over to mop and to wring it out.
I think I would pay pretty much any amount of money for a mop that actually works, doesn't fall to pieces, has a long, ergonomic handle that doesn't destroy my back and with replacement heads that are easy to find and install. Home Depot needs to read its reviews--there is a reason this thing has such low marks!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by gibson92 Great Product - but recent refills no good
I have used the power scrub mop for years and love it. But the last two refills fell apart after only a few uses. The first time it happened I thought it was an anomaly but then the second one failed even faster than the first. This is not normal. I have never had a failure like this in at least five years of use. To those who experienced this on your first use, this really is a great mop so I recommend asking them to replace the refill and try again.

Like the other reviews, the sponge fell apart. It separates at it's thinnest point before it wears out. Off to the trash can it goes.
The price was "affordable", but what value does junk have? Not much. 1 Star.

Oh how I wish I had read these reviews before buying this piece of junk! I, too, had a really hard time removing the plastic before using the mop. In fact, I only came to this website to get help on how to do that. Used it for about 10 minutes & while wringing it out, one side of the sponge pulled out of the metal clamp. Had to finish the floor on my hands & knees!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MarkRman17 too lightweight, inferior
We have 3700 sqft house ALL hardwood or tile floors. I used this mop for 5 mopping sessions before it broke at the wringing lever. The metal tubing is too flimsy and the handle kinks. Once that happens you might as well throw it away.
