Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Gra Would be great if the foam didn't tear after one use
The sponge mechanism made the mop easy to use and very effective; so effective it tore the sponge off from the base when I went to use it a second time. Less than 30 minutes use!. Dang - that's why I shop on Amazon - you read this stuff before you buy.

The sponge, scrubbing brush and mechanism made the mop easy to use and very effective. Unfortunately the sponge detached from the mechanism after its second use, for no apparent reason.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sonora HUGE Disappointment: Not at all Like the Earlier Models.
I have a previous version of this mop from about ten years back, and that one still works terrifically. Sadly, this model 1) has an angled head that will not go very far under beds and other low clearance furniture, and 2) it broke/bent the first time I went to change the mop head. At least my old model is still in great shape, but I need to look elsewhere for a second mop dedicated to the other end of the house.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by James Terrible mop
Do not waste your money on this mop unless you like throwing it away. The sponge fell apart after just three uses. I hoped it was a one time issue. Nope, bought the refill for almost eight dollars and it fell apart. Attached a picture for everyone to see.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by manfred quality of replacement heads seem to have fallen
My wife started using this mop a couple of years ago on the recommendation of a janitor at work. Says it worked great. She understands how somebody could be confused by the assembly instructions, but she found it easy. Problem is, the most recent batches of replacement sponge heads pop out of the tubular holder quickly when used. She has stopped buying them. She says she might resume if the company acknowledged they had a "bad batch" problem and convinced her they understood it and fixed it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wren bent in half on first use
The slit in the pole where the wringing handle sticks out is apparently a super weak point, because just the pressure of trying to scrub the floor made it bend.
