Battery life?

I will have to use this fan solely on battery power (as opposed to USB or A/C). Does anyone have a sense of the battery life? Just trying to get a sense of how many to bring as none will be available after departure. Thanks!
Asked by: Shelly
Sorry, never tried it with batteries.

HD Sales Person directed me to this little fan in a sale bin (less than $5). I love it. Plugged it into the USB port on iMac. Works great. I've had it now for about 4 months. Very, very quite; two speeds, just enough air (actually, I cut it to low speed most of the day). Keeps me comfortable at my desk all day long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet, pretty powerful, easy to hold, compact LOVE these little fans! My husband is a hot sleeper but can't use fans because of the noise. They're virtually silent on the lowest speed & pretty quiet on the highest (seriously, it has to be dead in the house for you to hear it!). My sister & I brought a few on a trip to Michigan IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER. Actually carried one each in hand while walking around a winery & market. These look big, but we fit one in our side purse & backpack easily, and they're light weight too. We even gave one to another table at a restaurant because they had an older woman not handling the heat too well. She just propped it in front of her...... :) I put batteries in mine, but my husband uses the USB for the nightstand. Both work just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I was told USB fans had no power but this thing is amazing. Low setting for the morning and a higher setting for after lunch. The perfect desk fan and I just collapse it at the end of the day to stick under my monitors. Allows me to keep my desk looking neat and organized.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A hard to find product that is also a quality bargain. Perfect. Just as advertised. I have been searching for this product for some time and finally found it at Home Depot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive yet durable fan for making a portable air conditioner fan was great for my project of building a portable "air conditioner" ( used an orange homer bucket and lid which you put a gallon jug of frozen water inside using the fan to blow the cool air out). Fan is not too powerful and the batteries last a very long time. It was great that the fan is two speed and the fan adjusts its angle from the base.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Quiet Using it to cool radio equipment. Does a great job. I've tried other types of fans, most were too noisy, or didn't move enough air. This one covers both with flying colors!!
