Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TmoneyTX Great bang for your buck purchase with simple installation
Only tools you will need are a knife to cut the box open and a phillips or flathead screw driver depending on the screws in your existing frame.
Measurements for overall opening are missing from the Home Depot website. After some digging we found them here:
Actually took longer to clean the sticky stuff off the inside of the window than it did to install the unit. Looks good and if you own dogs like us, then it makes a huge difference to not have the blinds exposed for our dogs to tear apart.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dfpaperguy Awesome product - super easy to install
We had been debating how to cover the window on the rear door to the house. Blinds, shades, curtains, shutters, etc. This product really fit the bill. It was easy to install. It looked like a permanent part of the door and best of all the design was such that our two dogs would not break it or get tangled.
I do wish that we had the option to get the version with the shade in place of the blindes, but the manufacturer did not make that version in the size that we needed. All in all we are very happy with the version that we purchased.
My mother in law liked it too and plans on buying one for her house.

We just installed these on a French door leading to a patio and they are beautiful. My only concern is they developed condensation between the glass today. It was only -5 today and I'm wondering if this is going to be an ongoing problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything you recommend to prevent it?

Super fast free shipping, a snap to put up. I installed the blinds in 5 minutes with no tools other than a screwdriver.
YouI loosen the screws on the frame around the door glass enough to slide a spacer in, then retighten them.
Clean both sides of the glass on the new blinds, and the glass on the door. Remove the factory stop on the inside of the blinds (says remove on it).
The blinds snap right over the existing window frame, and little slides go behind the spacers you put in.
It's that simple! Just lower the blinds down, and your done.
You can slide them up and down, and rotate the blinds open or closed.
I wish they made them in sizes for my other windows.

Bought one of these ten years ago. Its was the screw in type. Ten years later performs and looks as new. The new one I bought is the full length. This one hangs on the door and clips in from the side. Took a drab door and made it look like a very expensive door. Up and down works perfect and open and close is equally as good. No quality, install or cosmetic concerns. 100% Recommend with out reserve. HD and UPS managed to get it to my house undamaged. That was the bigger shock. maybe these videos on the net about these guys throwing stuff is having a positive impact on consumer shipping. All good.

I bought these for my French doors a few years ago. I was trying to find something to cover the windows in the doors and was having trouble until I found these blinds. I recommended them to my sister in Houston for her new home and she was amazed how great they are. Her neighbors in the community saw them and wanted them too. I accidentally broke one while fixing the blinds and had to find a new one. I found it on the Home Depot site and instantly ordered it.
The only small problem is that you must open and close the blinds carefully and slowly in order to not knock the blinds off the track where they get jammed up a bit.
I would highly recommend these to anyone with French doors.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mimi This product is cheaply made
The blinds were loosely packed in the box. They were all messed up and out of the track. I could never get the blinds to lower all the way, so I had to put the red plastic lock back on to keep the blinds lowered all the way. Now I can't raise them without taking them off the door. They do look nice, but I am very unhappy with Home Depot products. I also bought an entry door and two storm doors. The entry door and one of the storm doors were defective and had to be returned and exchanged. I did not want to have to return the blinds, so I rigged them up to make them work.
