Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RoverMan Easy to install and better looking than expected
These blinds were easy to install and work well. My doors are about 25 years old with multiple layers of paint, so a hammer and scraper were required to separate the mullions from the door and slide the brackets into place. They plastic frame is bright white, glossy, with a fake wood grain. Painting is required to make them look integrated into the door, which I have yet to do. I bought these at a big discount and after getting them installed I feel they are worth the full price. The only reason I didn't give it top score for Quality is that the handle used to raise/lower the blind feels cheap and doesn't seem like it would survive if used regularly. I rarely open these, so personally not worried.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pbelt71 Works great on front door!
We got this for about a third of the original price on Home Depot's website, and it works perfectly on our front door that has frosted glass and wrought iron. No more shadows and awkward light coming in unless we want it. We also have the blind version on another door that is just partial, and that is great as well.

These blinds made a wonderful addition on my double doors that have the afternoon Florida sun. I felt the temperature difference immediately after installing the first one. The door with the blind felt so much cooler than the one without, and this was at noontime when the sun was pouring in. I love leaving the drapes open now during the day, letting the light in while leaving the heat out. Plus, the blinds give me privacy from the neighbors. These blinds are easy to install - I'm a petite woman and it took under an hour to install both. My cat can see outside and since he can't touch the blinds, there's no fur to clean off. I highly recommend these blinds.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TX-Tim Perfect solution!
We had 2" blinds throughout our house, including the back door. No matter what solution we tried, the blinds were always slapping and banging on the door, and the valance was hitting the wall whenever we needed to open the door all the way. We finally removed the 2" blinds and installed the Add-On enclosed blinds. Problem solved!!! They look sleek, work perfectly and were a snap to install. We have an electronic lock on the back door which has a large housing on the inside. I easily trimmed the Add-On blind frame edge with a razor knife to fit flush against it. It looks like a custom installation. We've had it on the door for over six months and it still looks and works like new...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ed002 This is a great trouble free product.
This product is not only easy to install, it is trouble free, stays clean and is child and pet proof. We put a standard blind on our back door and within two days it was busted. So back to the store to get the ODL window treatment. We have been advising all our friends and customers to do the same and they have been just as pleased as we have.
It is great to be able to get such a simple product to do such a wonderful job and look good too. And the best part is all you have to do is clean the glass. No dust or finger prints on the blinds. And your pets cann't get to them eather. Just wipe off the glass.

We were at a loss for what to do about the full glass patio door in our newly purchased home when we came across the ODL add-on enclosed cellular shades. They are a perfect solution! We can adjust them just like regular shades, they don't swing around, the view isn't obstructed, they easily match our decor, and best off all, they just attach to the existing molding around the door glass without any damage to the door! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to add light control and privacy to an existing door without having to replace the entire door. Great product ODL!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PerpetualHomeImprover We now have 3 of these in our home.
I wanted something different at my kitchen door to cover the glass when we wanted to shut out the outside world. I was told about the add-on shades and I went to a store where they demonstrated one. We tried the half door add-on first and liked it. Then we added a full door add-on in the den leading to the patio, followed by a third door in the master bedroom leading to the same patio. We've had them now for about 2 years and are pleased with both the appearance, the easy-to-use shade treatment, and the extra insulation it has provided. This kept us from having to buy new and costly doors with this feature already built in or covering them with curtains, drapes, etc. And best of all, they were easy to install.
