Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by mholmes Won;t work if you already have sliding screen on your patio door.
I attempted to install this as a retrofit for a sliding screen. Even though the opening is the correct size the door will not attach correctly if there is an existing track for the screen. This is the only retractable screen advertised for a sliding patio door. Was not happy that it only came in white, but that is moot since it will not attach anyway.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by don121 Great door for tight area
Simply awesome. Had a single 32" wide exterior door on a 45 angled bay window. Swing out door would not work. Perfect fit. Arrived heavily packaged. Installing was too easy. If your opening is 32-36 wide, it adjusts without any cutting. 4 screws and its in. Was afraid it was a "rv" type product, plastic bracketS, etc.. Not true, its heavy powdered coated aluminum framing, solid retraction spring, and has precision fitting tracks. Well engineered, period..

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Madmerrimack The right door for our needs
Assembly was easy but a few steps are needed... based on the frame and attachment methods you may need an additional support to anchor the door at the bottom and a "filler" piece in the middle frame of the door where the gasket connects (to fill the gap. so an 8' 1 x 1 (pre-painted) did the trick. It filled the gap between the cylinder and the frame forming a tight fit for the weather strip/bug gasket and the small piece fit under the aluminum sill so I could have an anchor spot. I recommend this product but a 1/2 hour is probably not reasonable. 45-90 minutes depending what materials you have on hand.
Door works flawlessly and the markings on the screen prevent the dogs and cats from even making contact. It is however, installed on a Martini deck with no access to below.
It probably would not be good to contain small children as the bottom and tops of the screen slides without a frame at the top and bottom of the assembly and could be pushed to create a small opening.

We had the screen door for about two months. My partner accidentally kicked the bottom of the screen door and it came out of the screen door fitting. I am sure there is a way to put it back but it isn't easy....

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DMIKER BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT
This product does not fit most doors. By the time you've assembled it and find out that it won't fir your door jamb without major alterations to your door jamb - you've just lost $200.
I tried it on three exterior doors and it didn't fit any of the jambs. Do yourself a favor and buy an old-fashioned wood screen door. You will avoid a great deal of aggravation, save $100 and be much happier with the final product. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HandyAndy Install was smooth
Installed this today, took about an hour. I move slow since I am careful to make sure I know I am doing it right. I would suggest paying attention to being sure the frame is square and level, which is something I did not see mentioned in the install guide. You may also want a tube of caulk handy to seal up some gaps at the top or bottom, but that is no show stopper. I really like how it operates so far.

Screen was really easy to assemble, the instructions aren't the best but not the worst either ,door is pretty self explanatory how it goes up,snap it together, place on your door and screw it down,,Installation took about 20 Minutes
I'll never go back to a swinging screen door ever again
