Answer:
The instructions say to put the swiveling wheels on the end away from the handle, but I think you'll find, as I did, that it handles much more easily with the swiveling wheels by the handle. Try it both ways and you'll see the difference it makes in steering.

I wish I could give you specific weight, but I don't know exactly. I will say that it is well under 10# and very easy to carry because it isn't very heavy. Also, the way the handle folds down, it allows for easy carrying by providing a hold bar.

I recommend this item very highly. The instructions say to put the pivoting wheels at the front, but it makes much more sense to put them at the back by the handle. You can also easily remove the handle so that you can place large items on the platform that would not fit if you left the handles on. This item made all the difference in my last move. Read Less

I have 3 of these and they work well. Put the swivel wheels on the rear under the handle for better moving.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 80 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great little Cart This has made my musical career so much more convenient..One trip in and out of gigs..Cart is strong and smooth rolling..Really compact when folded up. All you have to do when it arrives is bolt on the wheels which is very easy....Love it!! March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Served it's purpose didn't like that the bar is so low I'm short and it still seemed low should have gotten the bigger model July 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Platform Cart It was easy to put together. I wanted something small but still capable of moving a heavy load. Works well for me with what I needed it for. The only negative thing the wheels don't pivot quite as well as I would like. It can be a little hard to move at times. July 4, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor quality The cart can probably hold 300lbs, but the handle is so weak that you won't be able to push it. I had a lot less than 300lbs on it and it felt like the handle was going to break off. July 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor Product! The product came with the rubber mat pealing off the platform. Assembly was easy, took it to the store to carry home 4 bags of groceries and the wheels fell apart within a block and by the time I got back home 3 blocks away, all wheels were loose and falling apart. Worst experience ever and cheapest and most poorly made product I ever got from Home Depot. Not happy at all! May 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good cart but I needed better I bought this cart to transport show rabbits from my car into the show arena. The base measurement was accurate, but the handle and collapsing mechanism take away some of that usable space. It's definitely better than carting all the transport cages in and out by hand. The wheels can occasionally get stuck in the doorways if there is a lip or dip. It also has no shock absorption for moving along uneven ground. Definitely meant for use indoors. Absolutely awful in gravel and pot-hole stricken pavement. I will be looking into upgrading the wheels or perhaps just getting a different cart. April 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by VERY GOOD INVESTMENT I am an active antique dealer and use it when I load and unload my containers at antique shows and flea markets. I have a small handtruck but I have to tilt that back and it is hard on my back. This is so much easier with much less effort. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Move It. This product seemed easy enough to assemble. My seventeen year old son assembled it and helped me to move things into our storage after a much needed move. May 25, 2016
