This item is both beautiful and very sturdy. There were no directions included so prior to assembly time was necessary to determine where and how best to use all the nuts, bolts and washers. I am enjoying using this fire pit.

Installed this chiminea on the deck with natural gas burner and logs. It is great on chilly evenings to sit around.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LolaLaughsLoud A very durable and extremely well built Chimenea
This arrived exactly as described. There was simple assembly. The color is just slightly darker than pictured here and it's beautiful. It is made of cast iron and has a powder coat on it. Well worth the money. We have burned three fires in it so far and it works like it is supposed too. It is decorative and a great conversation piece. From an individual who was hesitant on purchasing this prior to seeing in person, I'm extremely happy that this was an online buy that didn't go wrong. If you are looking for a higher end quality fire pit, this one is a DREAM!

The base and the top are good and heavy, the middle screen is poorly constructed, warps with first use. The top doesn't exactly fit good. They should have made it a little larger to accomadate larger logs. This product will require some customization of the middle screen component so it fits better. The door handle required grinding with my dremel to allow it to open and close freely.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rharper003 REALLY PRETTY!!!!!POOR DESIGN THOUGH
Ok first off, this is the prettiest fire pit I have ever purchased. The design is just gorgeous !!!!The flaw is the design.!?! The screens themself screw together but then it just sits inside the the base of pit. then the top part just sits on top of the screen, then the lid just sits on top of that. I am assuming the reason for this is cause you have to pretty much disassemble it every time you have to clean out the ashes!!!!! there is no bottom pan to remove so you have to do this every time to clean.! .
I will keep this cause it is soooooo beautiful and husband says it wont be all that difficult to do all that. But In my opinion hugely poor design, it is the most expensive fire pit I have purchased and yet has less ease of use than any other I have had. More expensive should mean more design features in my opinion.
We have big fires when we sit outside so time will tell with warping and what not to see if the top will stay from warping and causing a wobble once the grated sides warp up and so forth. I may repost once we have used it for a while and give a more detail opinion on this item.
but if you are looking for just a something that looks really elegant and have small warm fires this is really that nice looking .

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BaileyFam We love it!
This fireplace is just beautiful. It's even more attractive in person than the photo. It is very heavy, radiates heat from the fire and is a beautiful addition to our patio. We are looking forward to enjoying it for years to come.
