Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Plumber's best freind This open mesh sand cloth is the plumber's best friend for cleaning the pipe before he solders it. It is great for removing old paint on the pipes when making repairs in old houses, or when adding new pipe to the old piping systems. The thing that is very nice is that it still works even if it gets wet. A 6inch piece lasted with no problem cleaning 65 pipe joints on 1/2inch copper pipe. Every Plumber, Handyman, or DIYer needs this in their toolbox. March 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Open-Mesh Sand Cloth This product is used for helping to clean polish & deburr copper piping and fittings. This product can be used wet or dry, it doesn't affect the performance of the product. The grit is 180. It's lightweight and strong nylon based fabric, that has aluminum oxide abrasive bonded with a water resistant adhesive. It seems to last longer than the solid sanding cloth. February 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than the fabric sanding tapes. I've been using the fabric back tape for years to prep tube ends for soldering. I gave this mesh tape a try and I like it. The mesh seems stronger than the fabric sanding tapes, and the open construction keeps the abrasive from fouling with debris. When one side gets tired, just flip the mesh and use the other side. This is going to be a staple is my plumbing tool box. January 25, 2016
