My jar of the blue thicker glue had turned to jelly after a few months, so I picked up this "Regular" PVC cement. I don't typically need the features of the thicker blue Rain-R-Shine cement, and prefer this thinner more liquid version--less messy and easy to apply.
I used it on a pool drain pipe with some of the purple primer, and the joints were rock solid in seconds.
Easy to use and works great, good price.

This cement does the job. I was able to apply a PVC extender and successfully install a bathtub spout.

It's PVC glue. The purpose of which is to bond two pieces of plastic pipe together. The quality depends upon the knowledge of the person using it. I know how to use it and it worked great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by spork Its PVC cement not a savings bond!
This stuff works, follow directions, use primer and you will not have leaks. My rule of thumb is to lightly sand each piece to break glaze, hit each joint with purple primer, coat each joint with cement , assemble give a quarter turn and hold for 10 15 seconds. You will have a perfect joint. As far as lasting, its not an investment its cement not a savings bond. When it gets unusable go buy another can. its five bucks common don't be a cheap skate!.

I bought a can october 2010 and used the rest today 3/17/12. It was just as good today as the day I bought it.
It seems that if you're careful not to get it all over the can it can be a pretty good investment anyway.
(but I would still recommend mutual funds)
