CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I had no problems and it workes great I used this when I was repiping the PVC lines between my pool heater and pump. I applied the purple primer first and then used this and it worked great. I didn't have any problems with the solvent and the bonds seem to be holding up great. December 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good only if wet Conditions I only use this glue under 2 circumstances, there is some light rain or drizzle, or if there is a chance some water will flow onto the joint inside (not under pressure) while it is curing. It does not tend to coat the pipe before assembly as readily as regular grey pvc glue. Use the regular cement if at all possible but never if any water present, joint will fail. March 29, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid of at all possible This cement is much thicker then regular PVC cement. It does not coat as well but also, it does not hold as well. I used it in an area that was a little wet and the seal blew out twice. I dried off the area and waited. I then used regular cement and it held just fine. Also, the cure time on this glue is 24 hours as opposed to about 30 minutes with regular glue. Glue should be placed on dry PVC pipe anyway (otherwise the primer won't stick either). The PVC pipe is then glued so the cemented areas will remain dry. I can't see much use for this type of glue. August 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst DID NOT WORK AT ALL. BLEW APART WHEN PRESSURIZED. WENT BACK TO REG PVC CEMENT AND WORKED FINE March 17, 2014
