The high is 1500W, medium is 1000W, low is (if I recall correctly) 500W. The unit isn't designed to last long, though, so be sure to keep your receipt, if you buy it, and know that you have to ship the unit back to the manufacturer for replacement, if it fails. Shipping is at your cost, unless you have the receipt. Without receipt, return shipping of the replacement unit is partially your cost, unless Read More

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great at first, but not long lasting I loved this heater because it was digital and I like to be able to just set a temp and let it go for the night without the room getting too hot or cold half way through the night. It worked very well and heated up the room pretty quickly. But...we got this heater last year for Christmas and used it through the winter. I plugged it in this year because it has started to get cold at night around here and it worked well for the last week and stopped heating all together last night. Everything turns on, but it does not heat up. I was just hoping that for the price I would at least have gotten 2 winters out of it. October 16, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great oil heater Good oil heater. Had for over two years and still works well. November 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great heater I have a large sun room that is drafty and has no heat. this works perfectly for what I need, whether I want it nice and toasty in the winter or just burn off the chill in the mornings. I'll admit, I had one for 4 years and had to replace it because it started leaking. I went out and bought the same heater and it has served me well this past year. The only time I don't use this heater is when I fire up the wood stove, but that requires me to reload wood or be up long enough to watch it or close it up when the fire dies out, etc. I just have to turn on the radiator heater, set it where I want it and it can stay on as long as I want. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by good heat BUT product does not last These heaters work great, while they work. You can set the temp you want, the heat they generate is pleasant and not drying like with fan heaters. However, they do not last. I have purchased 8 over the years, and only one of them lasted longer than two winters. Not only do I find that not acceptable for something that costs over $100, but it is also disgustingly wasteful of resources. I am looking for a different brand as my house has no means to heat it other than these heaters. my daughter just bumped one and it fell over. It was working fine prior to that. Now it will not turn on at all - we tried unplugging it, using a different outlet, and checking the outlet with other devices. This heater is broken from almost nothing. This is not the first one to break down on us - it is the 7th. We're down to 1. I will be seeking out a different brand. December 8, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Warning: Does not recover from a power loss or flicker The unit will not save settings or even power itself back on after a power failure or flicker. The user must be present and aware of the problem to correct it manually, or this unit will stay powered off when power is restored. Consider the results of that. I consider this a very serious design flaw. December 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great heater I purchased this heater last year for my basement which is our family room. The basement was always 6 to 8 degrees colder than the rest of the house. Set this heater at 70 degrees about an hour before football games and it heats 350 sq. ft. with no problem. January 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Honeywell Space Heater HZ-789 Comfortable heat. Expect a ramp time of about 30 minutes to notice the room to warm up -- no different than a radiator heater. Quiet too. January 12, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great safety features Great customer service. Staff very helpful ordering and shipping. April 30, 2013
