Kettle is attractive but disappoints in function. Spout outlet too low, needs about another 2 inches length to get above the lid of the kettle. The present design permits kettle to be slightly less than half full or when it boils it shootsout on the stove. Workmanship disappointing due to very small seepage at bottom ot spout and sharp edges inside where holes were drilled for the water to move thru the spout assembly. Also, lacquer removal as instructed is a joke. I resorted to paper towels and lacquer thinner after several boilings in the water/baking soda solution barely affected the lacquer coating.
