The brick was to be a mixture of orange and red. However, for every 9 orange , there was only one red. TMany of the bricks were on the webbing crooked, and several were broken. Thankfully, my husban is an expert, and made it look great despite all the flaws.Would only recommend if installed by a skilled person.

Bought this to make a hearth\chimney for a gas fireplace. The mortar joints range from 3/8" to 5/8" and the staggering of each row of bricks are uneven. This really affects how the flat bricks match up to the corners. Several bricks were crooked and had to be straightened. Some bricks were broke.
The install video shows to draw layout lines every 21" but you will need to make them 21 1/2" because the the mortar joints are not consistent.
I used Thinset with polymer because I was laying over plywood. Using a 1/4" trowel the brick thickness ended up being 3/4" thick. I sealed the bricks with a masonry sealer prior to grout. I used type S mortar to grout. I cleaned the bricks many times but they ended up with a white chalky film. I tried several methods to clean but the only thing that worked was Muriatic Acid.
If you have a flat wall you will not have too much problem but if you have any corners you will spend a lot of time removing bricks and cutting to make everything come out right.
If they can improve the manufacturing process to make them a standard size with consistent mortar joints this would be a good product.

Good product, real brick. Mortar joints could be a bit closer together. The finger joints were larger than a finger and thus took quite a bit of mortar; more than an ordinary brick joint.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Greenthumbtack A poor substitute for ZBrick
Bricks are placed too far apart and require far too much mortar between them for the effect that I needed.
