Customer Questions & Answers

Can this cut through Swanstone solid surfacing?

I am looking at cutting down the 36x62x96 inch Swan Subway Tile shower in white and was looking for a 60 tooth carbide blade. Would this be able to cut through Swanstone?
Asked by: Kelsey
You can use a circular saw with a 40-60 (the higher the number of teeth, the smoother the cut) tooth carbide blade. If you don't want to free hand the cut, make a cut off jig similar to this one. http://www.theswancorp.com/images/link_installation/Form528_tk6072_tk105.pdf

It makes a very smooth cut in my miter saw. I hope it last as good as it cuts. I have only used this saw blade for a couple of weeks. I would buy this saw blade again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product works great. I could not ask for better cuts than I get with this saw blade. The cuts are very smooth and accurate. You can pay a lot more for a saw blade but I doubt you will get more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat this blade for the price. Smooth cuts on ripped walnut tempted me to bypass the jointer. This blade performs as we'll or better than my expensive blades. Still sharp after hundreds of feet of hardwood and MDF ripping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Saw Blade At A Reasonable Price I bought this 10" 60 tooth carbide blade for a project installing 500 square feet of exotic hardwood flooring. It cut cleanly and didn't gum up. While it did seems to dull just a bit toward the end of the project, it is still plenty sharp to cut cleanly. It met my expectations and, for the price, it is a great deal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buy three for the price of one Approx. 2 years ago I switched from buying those red high dollar blades to Oldham. "Made in China".. who cares! They provide clean, accurate, cuts with a long lasting durability in rough cuts or finish cuts. Currently Oldhams are mounted on my Radial arm saws, Table Saws, Miter saws, and 71/2 circular saws. If you push alot of lumber, soft and hard woods, this is a blade worth looking at for your next purchase.
